Doctor Sobiya is such a lovely and caring dentist. Before or during a procedure, she would tell you what she’s doing as she goes. She will always make sure that you are taken care of. The staffs are also very friendly and helpful and the dental centre is very clean.

The service and treatment I received at King Street Dental, Templestowe was second to none. Everyone was extremely friendly and professional and lovely to deal with. Dr. Sobiya Pathmalinkam was awesome and actually took the time to explain everything so clearly. I’ve never had a Dentist be as caring and informative with the options available to me.I can highly recommend this practice.

This business has an identity crisis as Bay Street Dental on premises and internet, then when one fills out application form, it states Bay Street Dental! The entrance into this place is very odd as well and it would appear to be a shared Reception Desk between Physiotherapy and Dentist as nothing to state dentist when one walks in, and no posters to that effect either! Do not waste your time going to this Dentist. They don't care to ensure person is comfortable and instead shove items into your mouth without checking comfort level! Going from other reviews, it would appear I am not alone in thinking this Dentist is unprofessional!

Sobiya was great. Very caring and have a thorough explanation of my dental concerns (I had gone several years without a check up). She was also informative of my options around teeth whitening, suggested a method in my circumstances and clearly explained why that option suited me.

Excellent clinic. Clean and have good reception. Nurse and dentist were great. However, it was too expensive for me as a Bupa insured as I paid 60% gap. That was $190 for checkup and clean!!! I wish this was explained to me at the time of booking but I guess it is my bad I didn’t ask for the exact gap considering they don’t state they are a Bupa network member. Other clinics provide decent discount when they are not part of the insurers network. At a Bupa network I’d have paid $10 only gap out of the $310 bill according to Bupa.

Dr Sobiya is a highly professional, skilled and knowledgeable dentist. She is also very engaging and informative - I particularly like how she explains what she's doing and why - and she offers great tips and advice on how I can best look after my teeth between visits. Dr Sobiya is attuned to her patient's individual needs and differences, and tailors her advice and treatments to suit. I am confident that I am receiving the best care possible.
