Food was pretty good however poor service. Super understaffed in the weekend, left at the entrance for a very long time without getting acknowledged altho staff were aware we were waiting to be served -no eye contact or greetings whatsoever(we had made a booking too). We were then directed to a table that hadn’t been cleaned and then had to approach staff ourselves again to ask for menu and water after waiting for ages.

The staff member that greeted us was a very nice guy who gave what I would say is 5 star service but after that it went a bit downhill. Having looked at the menu before hand I definitely knew the prices were on the higher side and that was ok, but what I wasn’t expecting was how little the food would be compared to other places.The photo that I took was of what I ordered I made “The Big Breakfast” one of my favourite cafe breakfast items. I was a bit disappointed by the size of it all to be honest it says two eggs are in it and I feel like I might have gotten two small eggs because the amount that I did receive was eh.Now one piece of toast as the menu says isn’t the worst thing in world however I don’t know why but the sour dough didn’t taste the best quality, what was also weird was getting three pieces of bacon the portion sizes seemed off for the whole order. The ice chocolate that I order was very good and I would order that again definitely.

Great Breakfast!!Very friendly staff, the food coming out of the kitchen is so beautifully presented with a good combination of flavors, Candied Bacon, Hummus, Avocado, Pomegranate & Eggs? Who knew that combo works? But it does… so we’ll!Thanks for Breakfast#Supportlocalbusiness

Very good coffee, food was delicious and service was great.2 minor negatives.1st: There is no cuterly/napkins/salt/pepper/sugar on the table we had to ask if we needed something.2nd: The chairs are uncomfortable, the sides dig into your hips after a while.Other than that great little cafe.

While visiting Geelong in June we found this place on google and trip advisor.Based on the fantastic reviews we went there for breakfast.The service was friendly and efficient and the atmosphere bustling but not over the top.The menu reads very well and makes you want to try everything.The thing we lived about this place was that the food tasted even better than how it sounded on the menu.We returned on 2 more occasions for lunch and breakfast again sampling different meals every time.Every single meal we ate was 8/10 or higher.Highly recommend this place when you’re in Geelong.

Easily one of the best brunches in Geelong. I got the truffled eggs with chilli jam, which was absolutely superb. Great coffee too. For a very reasonable price you get an upmarket meal. What's not to like?

What an absolutely great find this place is. Their porridge is the best I have ever had it’s live in a bowl. Had their burger for lunch again brilliant. We have been back three times now and haven’t been disappointed.So sad we are now moving on. Thanks Pakington Pantry for the wonderful food!!
