Prouds the Jewellers

Put watch in for repairs, 6 weeks later prouds said watch was in store ready to be collected. Got home and looked at watch which was not repaired, it was in the same condition as when i first took it in, and i got charged for repairs lol.

I have been visiting prouds stores for years, the service is very good.The jewelry however has become more and more over priced as is the case with most jewelry stores these days.Low quality gold, created stones and repetitive styles. For a girl who has always loved her bling so disappointing.

Customer Service is nothing short of exceptional.I went in with my girlfriend to get her mother a Christmas gift and we were treated super well.Natalie who took care of us not only has an amazing personality but is just in general a great sales person.Held a great conversation with us and helped us find exactly what we were looking for.She even went the extra mile and got us some really nice Christmas boxes for the items we bought.Nothing but great service from Natalie!

I don't have an issue with the in store service or the jewellery but I fail to understand why they are unable to leave a voicemail or send a text if you don't answer a call from them. I put a ring in for repair and missed the call to advise me it was ready. They left no voicemail, sent no text and almost two weeks later I found their missed call in my call log. When I went into the store I was told the repair wasn't done because they couldn't get hold of me! When I mentioned that if a voicemail was left or a text was sent I would have known to respond, there was a note left on my paperwork telling whoever called me to leave a voicemail or send a text if I didn't answer. I just now missed a call. No message. I called back and guess who it was?! Prouds letting me know my repair was ready. How hard is it? Really?

I have bought various silver jewellery pieces here. A bracelet, an Elite brand watch, few pairs of earrings. Very beautiful jewellery here at reasonably good prices. There is something for everyone here. I have recently bought a silver ring set. They were happy to exchange it for a smaller ring size, no dramas. Staff are very helpful and friendly. I only had happy experiences here. Will be back again.

I dont make reviews and for full transparency Prouds had been mostly professional up until this point but this needs to be said & I wish I read the other reviews sooner. I handed in my partners engagement ring 10 days ago for a resizing and was told it would be ready for pick up today.I called this morning to confirm it was ready, after a bit of panic (as the person I spoke with couldn't find it for a while) it was confirmed ready for pick up as work was done. We come in and find that not only was the ring not resized, it wasn't even sent off!! We were then told they cant send it off untill the 28th and it wont be ready for another week afterwards. Along with this both staff (on the day I handed it and the day I went to pick it up) both PUT ON & PLAYED WITH my fiances ENGAGEMENT RING!!You can get far cheaper and far better work done elsewhere which is where I have now taken this ring and my business too.EDIT: Just to confirm I did get a full refund for this however am still very disappointed.
