I spent 80$ on meal and I got most Disgusting for ever no cook and expensive and for Sauce you need to pay extra too?!!

Ordered roast of the day (beef) from the lunch menu. Beef was dry, the meal looked presentable but tasted like leftovers just heated up in the microwave. Maybe if heated longer might improve the taste as it didn’t stay hot for long. Very disappointing! Coffee wasn’t hot enough either…

We had my husband 70th birthday at the Nepean Rowers. From the moment I started to plan this event Helen from Maze could not do enough for me. And on the night the staff, food and service was Fantastic, all of our 80 guess where still talking about the night a couple of week later. I recommend Helen & the Maze Group for your functions.

Risotto was cold, pasta was a store bought Latina pasta kit and not cooked correctly.

I took some friends and family to Nepean Rowing Club on Sunday for lunch. My family were visiting from the UK and thought it would be a good venue to have lunch on the river. However, lunch was very ordinary and I would not recommend lunch at your restaurant to anyone.My niece and myself ordered the special of the day being pan fried barramundi . Well it was certainly the smallest piece of fish I have ever eaten as it looked like a kids meal . The chips were nearly stone cold and a very small serving which was tasteless . Also the smallest salad that was just a couple of green leaves and a slice of tomato and onion for which I paid $29. One would expect a decent meal for that money.Other guests had the hamburgers which were also very small with a very small serving of chips which were also nearly cold.I can tell you I have sent my comments on to the Rowing Club. I have lived in Penrith for 45 years and am very proud of this city. However, I felt embarrassed to bring my overseas friends to such a disappointing venue.I shall be putting my comments out on social media

Maze Cafe, Penrith RSL Club.I know we were technically 15 minutes past the breakfast menu cut off time (why not do all day breakfast like most places these days?).. but we asked if they would still cook omelettes for us anyway, the waitress asked the chef and the answer was No"..The upshot of this is that we spent only $18 for coffee and cakes. (and we're on the verge of walking out instead of ordering at all)Cooking the omelettes for us would have seen us order food valued at $50+ from the Cafe

Took my parents out for a meal at Penrith Rowing Club. The buffet prices were way over priced - you would expect table service for those prices. Secondly, the food was worse than second rate. My pasta was rubbery and flavourless. My dad's scotch fillet had grizzle through and through and my mum was sick all night after eating her fish. I will never go there again or any of the Maze group restaurants.

Ate at Maze Penrith RSL. Pork belly was terrible and they covered it in gravy... That's right, gravy! Big serving, but terrible. My wife's chicken was also poor quality. Food and drink is very expensive, especially for an RSL. Would have been much better if going to Star Buffet. Will not eat there again.

Waited 30 min for a very well done steak twice (asked for medium) staff were dismissive and incompetent. Food was very expensive and could be better prepared by a child. Steer well clear of this place. If this is an option for dinner any other choice would be your preference

Only thing good... Customer service. The staff were good and politeful. They need to notify their customers that cutlery is located near the windows - I found this out after my food was served and they didn't even get it for me. Food waiting time was long, it took 30mins for something so simple. Food quality was horrible - the sauce on my dish was super salty and unbarrible.
