We visited the COMMUNITY OP SHOP !!! Out the back of the Neighbourhood House...Friendly staff, little store but packed with lots of items. Mainly clothes , bric a brac and books. Might find a treasure or 2.

The welcoming atmosphere is the first thing that struck me .I attended a bush foods cooking demonstration , it was one of many activities that the house conduct.I had already been shopping at the food co-op and second hand shop before .The co-op sells a lot of healthy foods and little to none processed foods.The house is a central hub for the local community , they offer coffee and biscuits on a daily basis.I am still not fully aware of the full range of services but would suggest that if you have a community need it would be well worth contacting them.Lots of very friendly people.
