Quantity was spot on, flavor was great, tables already set for convenience & an easy 20 min drive from the city.Would def come back! Best pub food I have had in Darwin so far.

Great Tavern with great food and Service. The young waiter Stephen was amazing with great customer service skills. Made us feel very welcome and had extensive knowledge of the menu which is unusual. All the staff there had smiles on their faces and its clear that its a pleasent working environment.

Unfortunately, 2 stars is my honest review of the Coolalinga Tavern. $10+ for a Ginger Beer on tap was just the beginning of my disappointment. My MR Scotch fillet was of low quality, it was tough and tasteless. When being charged an additional $3.00 ontop of the $40.00 steak you'd expect to receive an actual side serve, not a tiny ramekin which at half empty would've held no more than 3 table spoons of gravy. There is nothing wrong with charging for extras, or for having higher prices on certain cuts of meat, so long as you deliver top quality products and decent sizes.

Welcoming committee was a bit disappointing. Staff just standing around talking and not paying attention to customers. Would have been nice to be shown the ordering procedure. However, the food was great, and the servie after we ordered was good. Black beer is the best.

Didn’t expect a lot from a small tavern but was excited when the food came out. Very good quality dishes and the southern fried chicken was tender and fresh. Would definitely recommend to anyone passing through. Pork belly salad was also 5 stars.

Coolalinga Tavern never dissapoints. We're Darwin locals and visit often from the northern suburbs. Breakfast, lunch or dinner are always five star for us. Food is great, large servings, fresh and reasonable pricing. Staff are friendly and a lovely atmosphere for families.

Have been coming here since it opened and food usually great. Not this time sorry to say, the Asian beef special was dry and bland. Sausage and mash, small thin sausages and where were the butter peas as only served mash. Disappointed
