Disgusting. Inedible. Pies were full of gristle & fat.Mock cream used in sweets.Do yourself a favour & avoid the pies. Complete waste of money.

This was a good place, my uncle use to rent this place a really long time ago and the good memories of the bakery shop until the plans flipped and now he passed it to another owner. I would get to have ice cream for free since I was a family member of the owner and bakers and to be honest, it was worth it since there is a beach near and I would sit at the back of the very end of the store and watch the trains pass one by one and some rare occasions enter the liquor shop. I would just watch my aunties husband make the pies, it was a really satisfying process where he flattens dough by a machine with buttons and he would continuously press it until the dough had enough, then he transfers it into another table with powder on the table to prevent it from sticking and shaping them with logo's such as a moon etc. I would just wish coming back here but my uncle transferring owner ship seemed like a hard choice since my aunty had moved closer to my family members as they live on top of another shop that is just a normal 10 second walk to the bakery shop. I highly doubt that the making of these produce has changed since I've seen people saying it isn't good or anything and I just got quite upset since people came here for a long time and the ownership transfer was about 1-2 years ago. Looking forward to bump into this place someday.

Awesome, flavoursome pies, with a few options for vego's too!!There's always a line up for the pork rolls...Great variety of cakes, for the sweet palate..!!

Been shopping there for 20 yrs .Hopefully Sour dough bread will be on there menu ,the snails r the bestAnd chicken pies are sooo nice ,very clean and beautiful hard working family,I I've seen the kids grow .

The pies have changed from oval to square and as they looked smaller I was skeptical. New owner so I thought changed what was my favourite pepper pie. Well if anything his spin on the contents has improved the pie. Absolutely fantastic. I have tried most pies there over the years! Best potato pies in the Illawarra. I will have to try more of them since the change.
