Making Waves Early Education Centre
My children have been attending Making Waves for a couple of years now and over this time, I have watched the centre grow beautifully. The educator's communication has been incredible and everybody is always willing to help with anything from routines for the kids, scheduling last minute casual days, questions about invoices and everything in between.I have a child in the preschool room and the baby room and both rooms have various activities, meals and my boys love going. My eldest actually gets sad if it's not a school day!If there are ever any issues, anybody and everybody is more than happy to chat and resolve them right away. I couldn't recommend Making Waves any more, especially to first time parents who feel a little nervous finding a centre for their children.

Making Waves isn’t just a childcare centre, it’s a place where my son feels safe, has made beautiful bonds with educators and staff and has many exciting experiences and learning opportunities. I’m excited to pick him up and listen to all the fun things he did that day.The educators are fabulous they are always trying to find new ways to educate and keep the kids engaged and learning. They always communicate and are transparent about everything. We have been part of the Making Waves community since 2017 and I would highly recommend.

Making waves has welcomed my family with open arms, Since my sons 1st day the team at making waves have made it so incredibly easy for myself and my son to settle in. Every day he learns new things and absolutely loves going to school.I looked at so many other daycare centres and Making waves was 1000% the best! We couldn’t be happier with the family environment and how welcoming the team are :)

Making Waves Early Education Centre
We have been attending Making Waves for 5 years now with our two children. The centre itself was purpose built with multiple amazing outdoor spaces both shaded by beautiful native trees and large undercover awning so that kids can enjoy being outside even on some of the wettest most miserable winter days. One of the best things to see at pickup is all the kids running around, climbing the fort, riding balance bikes, feeding the chickens, building amazing sandcastles and playing on the full size piano - It's a lot of noise but a lot of happiness.Rod can almost always be found at his desk in the front foyer greeting everyone by name, providing that warm family welcoming feeling. If not he is like a magnet for the kids wanting to run and play with him. They have a great mix of staff both male and female of varying ages and backgrounds.A full kitchen provides all daily meals and a special birthday cake if requested. The centre is proactive with new policy, staff training and resolving any concerns. Our children advanced through the stages from nursery to pre-school with the same primary educator all the way so they had their 'constant' person who knew their individual strengths and weaknesses tailoring individual programs to ensure they kept improving. It has always been reassuring that SeaChange was next door and available for feedback and assessment should we have had any concerns regarding our children's development. They are very proactive on early intervention.I would recommend anyone looking for a new centre to organise a tour at Making Waves.

We have been at Making Waves since 2017 when my eldest started at 11 months old. Since then my other daughter has started attending as well as my two nieces. We have always felt like family here and I would absolutely recommend Making Waves to anyone looking for a group of kind, caring and highly skilled educators to nurture their children through the early years. The communication with the service is great, we are always greeted with a smiling face and loving arms at drop offs, and the environment at the service is great- lots of big spaces, shaded outdoor areas and variety of resources for fun leaning activities. All of the educators show a genuine interest in the needs and well-being of my children, and the kids have had such a good experience here which has made the transition to big school a breeze. Highly recommended.

Wow! Fantastic child care centre. We moved our son over to Making Waves 18 months ago and it's the best decision we have made. They are kind, caring and like family. All the educators take the time to get to know all the children and parents. Couldn't recommend them more highly.

We love Making Waves and all the care that the educators take with the children. Our little one has been going there around 2 years now and he has learnt so much and loves going. He has built great bonds with other children and educators that will help him in years to come as he grows. We appreciate all the hard work that goes into each day.

Making Waves Early Education Centre
We have been attending Making Waves Early Education Centre for just over four years now and love it. The educators, directors and staff are extremely warm and kind and know my children individually. Each day fun spaces and activities have been set up for the kids to learn and play with a big emphasis on physical activity and movement. The outdoor play areas are great and well equipped. The huge undercover area in the main playground is something we particularly love as the kids are protected from the sun and can still get outside when it rains which is fantastic. My children have bonded well with educators, some of whom we have known for the whole four years, which makes leaving them in someone else’s care much easier. I highly recommend Making Waves as a safe, friendly centre where the kids learn, have fun and thrive.

We have been with Making Waves for over 5 years. Both my children love it and although the older one has moved on to big school he has great memories of his time there. The educators are friendly and make an effort to get to know the children and the parents. They make dropoffs easy as they help the children to settle in. I am amazed by how they remember all the names hahah. The educators engage the kids in play and learning activities and I love the reports at the end of each day. The communication is awesome from what the children ate at what time they ate to when they get nappy changes etc. The educators also design learning plans for children which is an awesome way to keep track of what your child is upto and you can also make contributions to the plan.Another highlight is seeing Rod (the director) as he sits in the front office . He is always very cheerful and waves to the kids as they leave and knows them all by name. He is always accessible if you need him and requests are always processed quickly.I would highly recommend this daycare to other families. We have been very happy here.
