Informed Therapeutic Massage

For months I have been struggling with pain in my neck and shoulders from a combination of heavy shift work and going to the gym. Most days I live in pain and discomfort which has reduced my everyday quality of life. I have tried massages in the past but have never felt great benefit from getting one. Today I took a chance and went and saw Jerry. Jerry has exceeded my expectations and has reframed the way I view massage. I walked in with minimal range of movement in my neck and walked out with complete range of movement. As I’ve been walking around this morning, I feel like a complete new woman and can not wipe the smile of my face.Jerry has taught me a valuable lesson and that is, not to neglect holistically treating your body. After this experience, I can not wait to continue going back to Jerry and being on the path of living in complete comfort. Jerry is wonderful! He is friendly and very polite. Probably one of the best massage therapists around Cairns if you want to get to the crux of any issue you are having. He really knows how to get to the problem areas. As someone else mentioned, he has the magic touch! Some people are just born with healing hands.Highly reccomend!

Had a great first remedial massage yesterday with Jerry. I attended with a lot of tightness and discomfort in my shoulders and neck (caused by a surgery many years ago) and Jerry was very accomodating and informative when treating me. He explained what he felt (knots etc) and told me which of my muscles were in involved. He then worked on these and managed to release a lot of the tension I had which left me feeling very relaxed and free of discomfort! He also gave me advice on what I can do from home to help if I feel tension before my next massage.Jerry’s open-air setup was also very tranquil being surrounded by nature and listening to the sound of a nearby pool with a waterfall.Jerry is very friendly, professional and helpful and I will gladly come back to see him for another relaxing and informed therapeutic massage.Thanks Jerry!

I had a 2hr massage from Jerry yesterday and was blown away with his knowledge and passion he has for his work.Jerry tailors his technique to what his client’s need to be pain free, and stay that way. He openly communicates throughout the massage, not only informing you of the technique he is using and why, but to ensure pressure he is using is to your personal tolerance.The massage paradise is surrounded by natural sounds of waterfalls, wind through the trees and bird songs. A setting that aided the relaxation throughout the appointment, and my only worry was trying not to snore throughout the massage.You will not regret treating yourself to a massage at Informed Therapeutic Massage.
