Haven't been back here since 2016, but came here 3 weeks ago, and loved it! New interior with more space, great coffee and food. The food options had a good variety and had some unique dishes that you don't see elsewhere. Make sure to look at the specials menu on the wall before ordering! They have very experimental combinations, so try them while they're around. Unfortunately they were sold out of some of the specials by the time we were there :(Staff are friendly and willing to help you out with any questions. Can get very busy on weekends!

One of the best cafe we have visited in Melbourne. Fantastic food, friendly staff and beautiful environment.This is a great place to visit on a weekend morning for brunch and just relax.This cafe is located on CBD fringe with a good distance to stroll and enjoy the culture of Melbourne.

Food is decent, service and ambience is great.Golden Gaytime shake was yummy! Chicken parma was alright, crispy pork belly was pretty good. Portions here are pretty big as well!

Really unsatisfied with this place. Got the eggs benedict and parma. With the benny there was bones in the meat, when this was brought up to the waiter she asked the chef his response was that it’s not possible to take all the bones out (I’ve never had this occur at any cafe), the eggs were almost cooked all the way through. The parma was basic and bland, chips weren’t salted; comparing it to universal the parmas are better there. Cost wise for $25 (average) for each dish, it wasn’t worth any penny. Only reason it gets 2 stars is the coffee

Quite a nice environment for breakfast and lunch, staff is great, coffee is nice and reasonably priced. The poached eggs are nice, food is mostly good but i would prefer the 'crispy' roast pork to actually be more crispy. The one i got was starting to be a little rubbery.

So the coffee isn’t overly bad, there’s no latte art on any of the coffees we ordered. There are better places for coffee in the area.The ramen noodles was pasta, and had way too many bean sprouts. On the plus side, the pork belly was really good, I wished they faced the crackling side upwards away from the soup instead of soaking it.Stovetop Benny, that’s a good dish. Individually, the components weren’t outstanding, but when they were eaten together, wow! The potato waffle was great and crispy, the pulled pork was tender and flavoured well, and the sauce on the plate is good!!Reuben, can’t say myself or anyone at the table was a fan of it unfortunately. There was no Swiss cheese (menu says it includes, but we couldn’t find it), and not enough sauce, making the bread drier than it should.

Shout out to stove top, amazing venue, beautiful, warm environment created through incredibly friendly staff and lovely looking venue and atmosphere.Shout out to Paul, who was extremely friendly, welcoming, helpful, making an effort to laugh and make jokes with guests (including giselle and Andy who were excellent bar tenders for the night). The food was flavourful and high in quality, as in you could see it was fresh and well prepared. Would definitely recommend this venue/restaurant to anyone looking to have a fun, welcoming, high quality meal or even an event, you will not regret it.
