I made a visit to the Emergency dept after doing myself a fair injury to my foot. The place was packed and it was only 10am.The service and effort from everyone that tended to me from the Triage Nurse onwards was absolutely inspiring.I am so appreciative of the care I was given and the efforts to have me treated. They were short on doctors but at no stage did I feel neglected, forgotten, rushed.A truly great effort from everyone you are doing a great job and I very much appreciated your efforts.M. WORST HOSPITAL EVER - Took my child there with serve stomach pain and peeing blood. Waited 4.5hrs to be told could be another 4 hour wait.Over 30 people left and went to other hospitals. Including a lady who was told she may have appendicitis but nothing done. Another had a BP 198 / 156 told let us know when you get Chest pains as it may be a heart attack""

Absolutely shocked by the way I and most other patients were treated by this one triage nurse. Older lady with grey hair would not let me talk, spoke over me, kicked my parents out the waiting room despite me being disabled and plenty of chairs left at that time, made me take Panadol despite me saying it hurts my stomach and does nothing and was just very rude and abrupt with me and many of the other patients. I realise she was busy and there are certain rules in place but that gives her no right to treat people the way she did, especially people who are suffering and in need of help. If it wasn’t for a very kind male Irish nurse that helped me, I honestly wouldn’t even think about coming back here despite my condition. I also had to sit in the waiting room for 4+ hours which only exacerbated my pain which I understand was due to lack of beds but still overall it was just an awful experience. I was truly at the end of my tether with chronic pain and finally gave in and went to hospital but am now regretting that decision.

The mental health triage in Ed is disgusting the way they treat people who actually have mental health issues is disgusting. My Grand daughter was admitted and felt like she was in a prison which made her anxiety and depression worse. we waited 14 hours for a bed and the wait began to make her feel unsettled and distraught she felt like she was in a prison. the nurses there are judgemental and we where spoken to like a prisoner. no sympathy or support what's so ever. My granddaughter has been left traumatised and will have to seek un government funded help else where due to the lack of care and judgment she received.

If I could give zero stars I would, I came here Monday night with severe gastro, I was so weak and dehydrated, I collapsed on the chairs in the waiting room of emergency, nurses walked past me like I wasn't even there!. They made us wait 2 and a half hrs and still no one cares to ask how I was, or offer me a glass of water, I was clearly passed out on the chairs. My partner asked the receptionist how long they would be, and she rudely said you need to wait". We ended up leaving

Late on Saturday afternoon I arrived at Caboolture Hospital and entered an extremely busy Emergency Dept. I was assessed, treated promptly, and cared for respectfully by all nurses.Dr Emma was exceptional with explaining the diagnosis, medication, and after-care. What an amazing team of professionals!!! A HUGE THANK YOU!!!

Shocking experience at the emergency… we waited for 2:30 hours, even after I told them a few times that my partner wasn’t feeling good at all… They clearly didn’t care, the people working there were laughing and making jokes between each other while starring a laptop probably doing nothing… I asked for help and she told me, you need to ask to a nurse(well I’m asking you to ask a nurse, cause I’m not familiar with that hospital)… On top of that I saw at least 4/5 patients coming after us but getting in straight away, while my partner was clearly suffering on that chair… We gave up, and decided to go somewhere else… This people shouldn’t work in a hospital on customer caring cause they only thing they care about, it’s finishing their shifts to go home.

Real issues with priorities and waiting time, after 5 hours my husband wasn't assessed for a blood clot, our GP sending us for a real urgent assessment. But if you go in crying because you have sore tonsils, you go in straight away ....Pain doesn't always indicate gravity !!!!It was the same when I went in for chest pains months before ....Not even a smile of empathy while you are worrying in silence totally uncomfortably.
