Lovely peaceful setting with lots of wildlife to see. Basic cabin was comfortable. Water that was drinkable was supplied. A little difficult to find at dusk. Enjoyable walks on property.

We visit Tarraleah every year as a big family group. We love the place as do all the kids. Such a special little town where we go ‘to live’ for a few days each with our own Self contained beautiful houses, we settle in and cook our own meals. Kids ride their bikes, pat the cows and see the ducks. They can’t wait for the annual trip! We even find time for a round of golf!

Very large and comfy cottages. Keeping them authentic including furniture while making them very comfortable is brilliant. The cottages definitely have a soul. No reception, no cafeteria makes you feel quite isolated. Bring everything with you

What a wonderful little place to stay. The cottages are beautifully presented and provided lots of space. We stayed in winter so the fireplace was well used. Reminded us a bit of the movie Pleasantville. Would gladly stay here again.

A truly secluded village with a great 1930s aesthetic, friendly service in the restaurant and from reception staff. Loads of outdoor activities in the area - lovely rainforest scenery. Cottages are spacious and very well heated, nice decor, although some of the couches are not super comfortable. Plenty of living areas, effective wood-heating and electric heating too. Dishwasher and fully equipped kitchen. Very peaceful!

Stunning place, lots of accommodation options and helpful engaging staff even after hours. As this was a very last minute decision due to some bad navigation and horrible weather and ended up being a very pleasant surprise.The Highland cabins were clean and allow for self-sufficient staying with a small kitchenette.The bed was a little hard and made a bit of noise when rolling over, but for the price was reasonable.

Lovely town to call past. Called into the local cafe and while it's got some lovely offerings the coffee is pretty average to say the least!Good accommodation available, golf course plenty of trout fishing in the area. Good bushwalking and plenty of camping at the surrounding lakes.

We stayed at the caravan park section of the accommodation. Great sized sites in various areas with power and water.No Camp kitchen or cooking facilities.Paid $56 for a family of 5Beautiful highland cows and some friendly goats at the back that the kids enjoyed. Not really anything else for the kids there.. but plenty of space.Beautiful views across the grassy plains. Nice waterfall walk close by. Very quiet.

A lovely place to stay. The cottages are gorgeous, spacious and comfortable. We had a family with three kids and it was great for us. Went on a beautiful easy walk to Tarraleah Falls and ate a yummy dinner at the Highlander Arms. We will definitely return.

I stayed overnight during a friend's forest wedding. I loved the art deco style furnishings. I had delicious vegan meals at the reception, the rest of the food looked great as well. We did the walk to Tarraleah Falls and visited the highland cows. Great place :-)
