The Blue Church was built in 1911 to serve the local community of Presbyterians which it did with grandeur until 1997 when it was abandoned by its parishioners and former deity. It was partially converted to a dwelling but abandoned again in 2002 and left to slowly rot over another 10 years. It became known only as the iconic landmark for seaward adventures to the Shipwreck coast and the 'notorious blue church corner' where unwary travelers came to grief on homeward journeys. The Pirate Priestess fell in love at first sight - her captain cupcakes less enthusiastic but - we did it. We had already been touched by the FSM's noodly goodness on an epic road trip across Australia and celebrated our own full Pastafarian Pirate wedding in March 2013. We have worked hard since resurrecting and restoring the grandeur of the old blue church and making it our home - blessed by the FSM. Our work, our doings and location always drew a bit of attention but upon erecting the Blue Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster sign in 2018 we have been blessed by the visitations of, and welcomed Pastafarian pilgrims from all over the world.Doom awaits however on account of its location and the ire of the local federal member of the now former Australian Government who set in motion the path to destruction of the Blue Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster - to become a roundabout.
