I went there with my Tia for lunch this afternoon and I had a Grilled Blue Grenadier with 1/2 chips and Tia had 1/2 chips as well. She enjoyed hers but my fish was tasteless and the chips were inedible. I wouldn't recommend this place because it has changed hands since Tony and his Dad left and it has gone downhill.

Got some whiting, pineapple fritters, potato cakes, chips and veggie burger.The chips were really good nice and crunchy. The potato cakes we also crunchy, but perhaps a bit thin. The pineapple fritters were amazing! Really delicious. I ordered one fried fish and one grilled, but the fried fish was soggy. We only live 5 mins from here so it must have got soggy very quickly but it was disappointing and not enjoyable. But the grilled fish was quite nice. The veggie burger was good, nothing to write home about. Probably will try other local fish and chipperies before returning (just my experience).

I wish I could leave more stars. This has got to be the best fish and chips in the area, and they're now open Mondays!!! We had a family pack on Monday with a Greek salad. Everything tasted like really good quality food ,the salad was made fresh and full of everything you want in it. Not a cheap salad with one olive and mainly lettuce, like some places. It was all delicious. Kids loved the fish bites, flake was of good quality and not like every other rubbery piece you buy elsewhere in the area. Really impressed and will definitely be back. Please don't ever compromise on your food quality - one of the best fish and chip shops ever!

Went today , in a mobility scooter, young girl came and served me at door , (greatly appreciated ) then bought my food oyr , burger was better than i expected , potatoe cakes were good ! Cheers

What an experience that I have...They don't go by the queue, only priorities only orders at the counter. Never pay attention to Online order/app order. Never come back again and will tell this about to my community as well.

Me and my Family was looking for lunch first time getting take away from The Crispy Catch fish & chip, The staff we're very welcoming and took my order in good time and food was cooked at it's best, potato cakes a bit small ask for 4 and got compensated with 10Very nice fish and chips love them so that's a win win..

**updated to 3 stars per owners reply**Menu incorrectly states that the lamb souvlaki is ‘off the spit’. I ordered two and arrived to find it being fried on the grill with only a chicken spit available…Giving it the benefit of the doubt I was let down with what appears to be lamb forequarter chops used due to the grizzle / fat scattered through out.The chips were crunchy but taken way too far which meant they dried out very quickly.Left disappointed having spent $34…

The grilled snapper was nice and thick and cooked beautifully. The sweet potato cakes were homemade and absolutely delicious, I was very impressed. The potato to batter ratio was perfect. Not too thick, not too thin. Didn't wait to long either.

Customer service member was so polite that I had to give this review. Very welcoming with a smile on his face. That alone will keep me coming back to this store, this type of service should always be highlighted. Fantastic work!
