Nobelius Heritage Park
Grew up near here has changed alot use to be very over grown which made it much more fun as kids to play in.One shelter, one museum & the packing shed up the top of the hill.Could do with better bbq facilities, a public toilet block & more public shelter areas to make it more family friendly, but I think the best part is the free parking and walking into the Emerald Lake Park forest for free.

Great local park which has the features of the old botanical gardens, wood bbq, picnic tables, lots of running room.

I have been a local to the Dandenongs Ranges my entire life, and only just discovered this park recently. It is lovely with a great variety of established trees planted and labelled around the park. There's a few picnic tables for people to use. The park pathways join up with pathways of Emerald Lake Park, and provide a very pretty environment to explore.Dogs allowed on lead.

Beautiful quiet walking tracks so pretty in autumn smaller quieter car park on other side of emerald lake park. Tables seats to sit enjoy tranquil surrounds and emerald lake museum. Didn't visit museum but walked on tracks people cycling here to. This part is a nice quieter change to visiting main entrance and emerald lake where gets very busy.

Love this park! Relatively quiet, gorgeous in every season and a nice walk to Emerald Lake or to the township via Pepe’s Land.

Very well maintained and quiet park. Feel like walking into a fairy garden. Love the peacefulness. I only walked part of the garden. Would love to come back to explore a bit more.

Named after Carl Nobelius who founded the nursery in 1851 & was operated by the family for 70 years. Has been preserved & converted into parkland with the original plantings & trees.Especially lovely in autumn! The Emerald Museum is located here (open on weekends). Puffing Billy stops here enroute to Emerald Lake - platform is at Nobelius Nursery building.Walking trails connect to Emerald Lake (hardly 2 kms away). Parking & toilets further down Crichton Rd. You can navigate pram & wheelchair but note - area is on a downward slope - so be prepared!
