Absolutely laughable they claim to have the best pie in the country… for starters it’s a mushroom and truffle pie which sounds absolutely filth but I just got a normal steak cheese and bacon and it was honestly one of the worst pies I’ve had. It was overcooked, pastry hard, far too hot, small and flat, and the bacon pieces on top were so crispy I almost lost a tooth. I actually don’t know why I gave it a two star it’s so bad.

Yummy food. Nice little sweet treats for the little ones as well as a little courtyard with kids play area, blackboard, toys (ask if they’re not put out yet) and roomy toilets with change table.

We bought frozen chuncky meat ones as well as the mushrooms truffle ones. Have to say that I love the truffle one more. Very fragrant and tasty.The place is quite spacious and plenty of seating area.

It is indeed the best pies I have tried. Tastes so good. By the time I got to the store, most pies were sold, but the few I got were really delicious. There were a good choice of pastries as well. Price is very reasonable. Another delicacy is the cheese quiche, which is of very high standard.

I love the pies at the Rolling Pin Leopold! My favorites are the steak bacon and cheese pie and the potato pie. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Rolling Pin Pies & Cakes
Pie and cake shop, second (or third?) in the business with the original in Ocean Grove. The one in town is a favorite with locals, always packed.The highway shop has the same quality, just quieter. More chance to sit and chat rather than take away.Beautiful pies, lots of fresh rolls and sweets too. Their award winning pies are stand outs!
