Came across Prestige Motorsport last year end of August. As I wanted to import my own car and didn’t like the quality found at local dealers not to mention a brand new one.After sending a few emails to Geoff, I decided to go ahead with him. The whole process was a very smooth one from ordering the car to getting it to customs in Sydney. Kept me inform the way process.I must say that Geoff was very patient and responsive with all my questions.What more is there to say, awesome guy all around and very professional!8.5 months later, finally have it in my drive way!

Good Morning Geoff,I have been truly negligent in not contacting you sooner to express my thanks for your professional services in securing my Nissan Leaf ZE1 e+G 2020 model.An admission on my behalf, I was hesitant in contemplating a personal import from a Japanese auction, but you were reassuring, proactive and knowledgeable throughout the entire seamless process.Whilst Covid 19 played a part, with transport, customs clearance in Adelaide and compliance, the wait was worth it.I am delighted with the buy, colour and specs and showroom condition on arrival, ( cannot be faulted.) A fantastic car to drive despite the Japanese messaging and infotainment limitations.I have had a charger installed at home per Gelco Services, (who I see are now listed on your website) Phil is great to deal with and like you has a wealth of knowledge. So far my battery charging has been from rooftop solar.The one and only downside of the car is the inability to convert the head unit as the 2020 model has no SD card slot. This seems to be a prerequisite for Language conversion etc.In conclusion Geoff I thank you and recommend Prestige Motorsport as the go to company for importing cars.

He has been doing this for 20 years, so rest assured you are dealing with a person who knows the Import process from Japan to Australia, like the back of his hand.He has an encyclopedic knowledge of skylines and is now importing electric vehicles (EV's). His knowledge of EV's, especially the Nissan LEAF is sound, and he demands that extra detail on Auction reports for Nissan LEAF's (utilising Leafspy app), such as :Battery SOH (state of health)QC (quick charge) to L1/L2 Slow charge figuresDTC's (Diagnostic trouble codes)To ensure the the customer at the end of the day is getting a quality vehicle into Australia.He was also the first importer in Australia, to import, a privately imported 62kWh LEAF, into AustraliaBut most importantly you need a importer who can take you completely through the import process end to end. That's is from signing the agreement at the start, to yourself screwing on the numbers plates, on your newly import vehicle, with screws that never quite fit.One example is, during registration in Australia, the shop front (rego office) demanded an invoice from Japan, with the Australian VIN on it. (Yes chicken before the egg stuff). Geoff was more the happy to assist us in the final step, to get our EV registered.
