Thanks to Leonie and her team of staff today. Brilliant customer service and a beautiful atmosphere. I loved every moment of being there and the view is absolutely spectacular. I very highly recommend visiting the wine collective at Macedon.

Nice view. Service needs improvement. Good menu selection but the execution of cooking method also needs improvement. Don't let my review sway you against visiting, you may catch them on a better day.

Staff are so wonderful here, so friendly & attentive in everything they do. We were seated by the window & had an amazing view of the sunset.The food itself was really flavourful, well presented, filling & tasty.I had the Lamb tenders in Harissa sauce to start, the seasonal fish which at that time was a whole baby snapper with zesty peas & a side of the diamond cut chips. Would definitely recommend all. The fish especially was well seasoned & soft like butter.Definitely would have given 5 stars, only that the wait time was a little on the longer end. Despite that, it was still an amazing night & I look forward to returning here sometime.UPDATE:they've outdone themselves since our first visit back in April with the new seasonal menu & the wait time time was right on point. Everything was so delicious & well seasoned, & well balanced all round. I would definitely recommend all of the meals, but especially the hervey Bay scallops & the Lamb!

Wine oriented restaurant with expansive views over the plains below Mount Macedon. Wine list is enormous with a focus on local wines, and you can buy bottles to take home at cellar door prices. For those driving they have a very good selection of wines by glass. As per other reviews some of the dishes could be improved, but the menu is ambitious and the night we went the croquettes were perfect. In any case the views and wine make it 5 stars.

Great experience, beautiful local wine selection and the food was amazing. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable. The view is also spectacular, could not recommend this restaurant highly enough. If you love food and wine in a great atmosphere then you must try it.

Food is good, the asparagus is a standout! Also recommend the Porcini ravioli and sticky date pudding. But the best thing about this place is the service. Can't fault it! Went up to Mt Macedon with two of my girlfriends and decided on this restaurant due to the reviews and great views it offered. However we were bitterly disappointed. We got there at 12.31pm and ordered within 10 mins. Our appetisers came like 50mins later. They looked better than they tasted actually but it was ok. However by 2.10pm, our main course still had not made any appearance! We had to inquire whether the restaurant was having any issues. There were only 6 tables! One waitress admitted that one chef was out with covid and hence only one chef was working! It would have been nice if they had the courtesy to tell us that our meals would be late due to this and let us decide whether we wanted to go to another place or stay.. but no. .. The owner ( at least i think she is) didn't bother to look in on us. She seemed preoccupied with only one table and basically didn't check in on the rest. We also weren't even offered any drinks or crackers while waiting... The food finally came about 2 20pm but was it worth the wait? No... it was mediocre at best. The 2 ravioli was chewy and tasted a bit dry. The lamb rump was a bit over cooked. We finally got out at about 3pm by which time we didn't have much time to enjoy Mt Macedon since most places were closing at 4pm. So yes... the visit to this restaurant kinda ruined what was supposed to be a good fun outing with good food, visit to some gardens and sun shine!

Great views and looked forward to the meal based on a local recommendation. Unfortunately the service was slow. Not all tables were full on a Saturday night yet from the wine through to the food, it took far too long. The food was ok yet nothing you would rave about. First the wine, they had to go “searching” for it. 20 minutes from being seated to being served red wine is not great. Starters took 40 minutes which yet again is far too long and the mains also took a substantial amount of time. We were the last table served. Overall a disappointing night after driving all the way from Melbourne. Oh great views.

Absolutely stunning place on first impressions, lovely décor, well thought out, despite being a little crammed and felt in the way. Staff were amazing, ever so lovely, kind, attentive and helpful with all the questions that we had... The food was ever so tasty, well presented and great temperature. I loved my experience in this place, I would definitely come here again and I would 100% recommend this restaurant to everyone!! <3
