Chicken Treat

Food is great. Service is terrible with open hours changing from day to day. Went there today at 1345 to find the door locked. Waited outside as we could see people inside. No signs or anything on the door. Then we're told by another customer that they were not taking any more orders.

Their website says their open,tried ringing three times on Tues 7/6/22 @ 14:24 no answer, obviously closed, you'd think any business in calliope would try to make money considering the amount of businesses that go bust

The old lady working today was so rude, put the finger up at me as I left the store too. Don’t have a roast chicken sign out the front if your too incompetent to have any.

If I could give no stars I would. I was locked out of chicken treat Calliope for not wearing a mask. I have an exemption and they still locked me out. My kids were having get so I let them order and it will be the last of my money U get from a local! I supported U throughout 2020 and 2021 until now. Mandatory is not law. Learn right from wrong and fact from fiction. Laws are in place to protect you and you customers.

Chicken is delicious. Chips are good but really need another minute to cook as they come out only JUST done every time and tend to be a little floury if not eaten straight away. Staff are strange, I asked if I could get burger with no cheese and she just looked at me and put cheese on it anyway. They seriously need to stop microwaving the burgers after the chicken fillet is cooked, no idea why they microwave them, just turns to soft mush and no crunch on the deep fried chicken. There is great potential here but needs some fine tuning. Perhaps new friendlier, competent staff, reconsider the microwaved burgers and cook the chips properly! Other than that, its good.

Absolutely disappointed. We got 18 pieces of chicken it was cold and dried out, had been sitting for quite awhile. Gave it another chance and got a 9 piece but asked for it to be cooked fresh as we didn't mind the wait, it was just as bad as the previous lot. We will never go back again

Very expensive, tasteless and staff didn't seem to care or have any knowledge. She even asked me how many pieces of chicken on my burger! She should know, she charged me for it! Will never visit again sadly.

Very disappointing we got a 9 piece feast it was even cooked fresh got it to the car it smelt delicious that was about as far as it got. When getting home and opening the box the portion sizes were the size of a quail, chicken treat is not the only place that this is happening the same with other chicken takeaways stores it must be cheaper to buy being so small but quality is compromised as the portions being so small they end up dry and flavourlessand

I could not believe it! I walked in last week for my first attempt as we recently moved here and the older staff member who was working just ignored me! No acknowledgment I was there at all. I continued to wait and watch her cook but still not even a glance let alone any acknowledgement. I left! How do we teach people to work, be pleasant and care about your level of customer service if our more senior workforce acts like this?! A crying shame:(

I walked in at 7:45pm on Sunday the 31st and was refused service as the two people behind the counter told me they closed at 7:45 (Hours of operation on a Sunday are supposed to be 8PM). Very unprofessional.
