Castlecrag Montessori School

We could not be happier for our experience at Castlecrag Montessori so far. The teachers gentle and kind approach to learning has proven huge strides in development in my son including increased curiosity and independence, great vocabulary and love for helping out with household Tasks. Furthermore the sense of community provided for families and involvement is great! There are lots of opportunities to see what students are doing within the classroom and integrate these Montessori methods at home.

We love Castlecrag Montessori because our daughter loves it. Every day for the past year, she has walked in happy and excited to go to school. She surprises us each week with artwork, reading, writing, maths, puzzles, and general skills development. The school itself is beautiful and the teachers are wonderful, we were very impressed from the moment we visited for an observation.

Castlecrag Montessori School has been an amazing preschool experience for both of our kids especially after missing out on so much during COVID. The teachers are all so wonderful and nurturing and very much attuned to the individual needs of the child. The Montessori classroom is beautifully presented. We feel really blessed to have found this little school for our kids after moving back from overseas.

We came to an Open Day for this little school last September and our daughter (4 yo) was like a duck to water with the fantastic puzzles and other interesting materials at the school. The teachers were so informative, approachable + gracious. The parents were also so genuine + caring. We watched our daughter play for about half an hour and noticed such a spark in her... I kid you not!She HATED going to her daycare 2 days a week, and the daycare staff suggested increasing her days... but this baffled me. We promptly + intuitvely decided there and then to sign her up for Castlecrag Montessori.Since our daughter commenced Montessori she has flourished! She now attends class 5 days a week + WANTS to go to school. I thank the staff for all they have offered. We are full of gratitude to have found this little gem of a school. If you're after fantastic teachers to guide your child, then look no further.

Castlecrag Montessori School is a beautiful preschool with the most amazing, caring and dedicated teachers and a gorgeous setting. Of all the preschool open days we attended when looking at options for our daughter, this was the one that she was drawn to, and I knew immediately that we had found such a special place. Over the past 12 months, we have watched out daughter flourish, growing her confidence, independence and skill base, and developing lovely friendships with her classmates. She learns so much on a daily basis and would go to school every day if she had the chance! The school has a lovely community feel and I really couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Our first child had a great time at Castlecrag Montessori School (CMS) which established a strong foundation for his success in primary school. Our second child is currently at CMS and gaining a wonderful momentum in all aspects of her development. The newly introduced bush program is another highlight and differentiates CMS even further. It’s the best start we could possibly give to our children and a high-returning investment!

I wish it was possible to give more than 5 stars. You couldn’t get a more nurturing environment, passionate educators and beautiful bush setting. My 3yo has blossomed this year and is showing me a new skill or sharing new knowledge every day. The three day program is perfect for us and the new bush program is teaching our little people precious life skills.

CMS is the perfect environment for my child to begin her schooling journey. The nurturing teachers have truly inspired a love for learning in my little one and I am so pleased to have found this school.

Beautiful little school, amazing teachers, and wonderful start to our daughters education. Both my daughters loved attending CMS, after nearly 5 years at the school, I highly recommend to any family looking for a nurturing and educationally stimulating environment for their child. The teaching staff are so caring and dedicated, it was really important for us that the staff were all highly trained and consistent. Montessori has been such a wonderful experience for my girls, we loved that the classroom was filled with so many interesting materials, that emotional wellbeing/critical thinking/independence/social confidence are all equally supported, and they have the most beautiful natural garden to explore every day during garden time (I still find gum nuts tucked away in tiny pockets!). My eldest has now graduated and has transitioned easily into primary school, and tells me every week at her little sisters' drop off, 'I love my new school mum, but I really miss CMS:)'

The quality of care, kindness and teaching which my daughter received at Castlecrag Montessori school I cannot rate highly enough. The professionalism and knowledge of the teachers combined with the extensive Montessori educational tools provided an engaging, effective and caring teaching environment. My daughter still asks to go back and see her teachers as her 3 years there have left a positive indelible mark on her heart. It is without doubt the best start I could have given my daughter in life cementing both her love of learning and a caring kind outlook.
