Australia Post - West Ryde Post Shop

Driver didn't attempt to deliver the parcel. Got a message saying that it should be coming around 5 to 7 pm my parcel just ended up stuck in this shop without sending the driver out for an actual delivery. Why are you not sending driver's out for delivery???

My local postie Bruce is a top bloke! Always prompt and courteous. Even during his busy delivery run, he's always happy to say hello or a quick chat!

I'm not usually one to write a review but I have been absolutely astounded by the consistent appalling service this post office has given myself and fellow residents of West Ryde. A particular incident occurred the other day that has pushed me to write this review, where I came into the post office after having received a post card telling me to collect my item. I was being looked after by a servicewoman who had a terrible attitude and lacked foundational customer service skills. She asked me on 3 different occasions if I had received my parcel" and told me "it's most likely on your property". I found this to be so rude and condescending and told her I wouldn't have come to the post office if I had received it and I'm simply following the instructions of the post card. After waiting another 15 minutes she finally found my parcel in the back after accusing me of already having it in my possession. This happened to be an extremely important item to me as well and I needed it for that day

Very bad experience with ID photo. The Indian lady took a tilted head photo and she refused to retake the photo. She was adamant. Not going to this post office again!!!!

Australia Post is Australia’s postal service that do not deliver parcels to your door.95% of the time, parcels do not arrive because their drivers do not ring the doorbell. Excuses include, “no one at home” when you were at home all day, and “cannot access the building” when it’s clear where the front door is. Instead they force you to pick up parcels at a post office, not in your suburb but the next, that also only open weekdays during business hours to ensure it’s as difficult for you as possible, ensuring you feel that as a parcel receiver do not matter. And so you have to take time out of your work day, so they don’t have to.Complaints to Australia Post fall on deaf ears. This is a repeated problem that they don’t know how to or can’t be bother to fix. People use Australia Post as there is no competition and no options.The staff at this Australia Post are rude, slow and unhelpful. Expect to queue for 30-40min because this is a regular occurrence for locals in the area and surrounding suburbs.They do not deserve any stars at all.

This has to be the dumbest post office out there, so many people work a 9-5 so no one is able to pick up there parcels and they do not open on the weekend which is very inconvenient, keep in mind no delivery driver tried to drop off the item, we need a serious restructure of this post office, very dissapointed

Had a package waiting to be picked up which got returned to sender before being able to be picked up most likely stolen by their staff. Be very careful when dealing with these people

They never deliver, EVER!! If I give you the authority to leave, please spare me the trip to the post office during my work hours and Just Leave the Parcel outside my house..!

No attempt to deliver. No notification of parcel arrival. On the phone Aust Post said you can go in 7-9AM for parcel pickup, I asked a favour to afriend and she spent 30min trying to see where to pick up parcels to no avail.
