Junction Village Cobbler

The skilled and friendly Cobblers here fixed my favourite leather boots when they appeared unfixable after an attempted (botched) re-heel by a chain store repairer. They finished product was excellent and reasonably priced. A very grateful customer!

I had a pair of old leather boots from bali that had absolutely had it and Peter managed to make them brand new again! Could not recommend more :) Very reasonably priced as well.

I took a brand new pair of Louboutin shoes to have the sole protected as i paid $1680 for them and wanted to protect the original sole. The cobbler said this is fine and he does it all the time. Receiving the shoes back, i was mortified to find the sole cut, the “protector” messily attached with a gap and the side of the actual leather body of the shoe accidentally sliced in two places. There are also grind marks on the leather sides of the shoe.I returned to the store to discuss this as i expected alot better. They now look second hand.The owner of the store would not look at the shoes, accused me of trying to “stitch him up”. His friends that said he doesnt even work there kept hackling and repeating that to me from behind the counter also. I tried to keep it calm but it was coming from all sides.I felt unheard and disrespected. They have left me with no other option than to take this to fair trading.

The Junction Village Cobblers are the best in Newcastle. I have to have a special shoe lift but on my right shoes at a specific height and the boys do a great job every time . I've been going to to see the boys for years and their always get it right every time. I would highly recommend The Junction Village Cobblers, they are polite, professional and friendly.$$ to $$$

I took an unusual item to repair at the Village Cobbler. It was a surfboard cover that needed to be reduced by 12 inches. It was no trouble for the staff and after a couple of days I picked it up and it was like new. The craftsmanship was excellent. Very friendly staff.
