Walk-in a Sunday for lunch!Amazing staff with fantastic service.Food was delicious! Better steaks than most places!Sat outside. Live music from next door restaurant a bonus!!! Quiet enough to have still have a conversation!Beautiful view.Recommended. 5/5

Nice place to be with view to the river. Had salmon sashimi and a typical chicken parmigiana...both was good but not thaaat outstanding ...service was friendly ok ....as said nice place....

Can’t really go wrong with a parma at a place like this though I didn’t much care for the side of slaw. They should just move the chips onto that space of the plate rather than under the chicken so it’s actually easy to eat. Decent sized servingUpdateVisited Ludlow last night pre going to the ballet and whilst it wasn’t our first choice of venue it was the one that would take us given absolute insanely hectic scenes all the way along Southbank. Festive season celebrations are certainly in full swing! I ordered a beef burger which was a little dry and came with a pedestrian like slaw which I didn’t touch. Not the speediest service but understandable given it was quite busy. Overall an average mealOriginal reviewI've been here many times on account of living metres away for five or so years and it's always consistent paired with the lovely ambience you get from being located riverside. The bar food is well priced with a decent selection and no complaints on taste however the desserts are the standout. I personally can't resist ordering multiple. Great atmosphere particularly if you are seated outdoors.

Shared a valentines day meal with my partner this year at Ludlow and had the most incredible steak. Appetisers were delicious as was the rabbit tagiatelle special. It was actually very good value and nice atmosphere. We would definitely come again.

This should be called Ludlow's Pub Grub on Southbank" to manage the expectations of people who have given poor reviews. One glance at the menu and you can see its pub grub. Fairly average pub grub ... nothing to write home about. The fish & chips was moist and tender but average. The wagyu burger was tasty but average. The mulled wine needed some fruit and sugar syrup

We chose Ludlow's for Friday afternoon drinks and early dinner overlooking the Yarra based on good reviews. Service was excellent. Started with the zucchini flatbread which was fresh & full of favour, followed by the pressed lamb shoulder & calamari. The lamb was melt in mouth and so delicious - highly recommend

Funny moment ;)For the first time ever in my life forgot to pay the bill and just walked out of the resturant, right at the exit it struck us we had not paid for the food. So had to rush back in.Thankfully the bartendend was friendly and nice to us and appreciated that we came back on our own to pay for it.Will never forget this hilarious moment. Sorry tho (was lost in the conversation) !!Loved the flatbeard and dips <3

We recently dined at Ludlow Bar, drawn in by its stunning location by the Yarra River and promising views. The ambiance was indeed impressive, with a lovely view of the river and a prime location. However, our experience took a downturn when it came to the food.We ordered calamari and beef rum, but unfortunately, both dishes were disappointing. The calamari was overcooked and rubbery, lacking the freshness that we were hoping for. The beef rum was also underwhelming, lacking flavor and tenderness. The presentation was decent, but the taste just did not meet our expectations.It was disappointing to have such a letdown with the food, especially after being drawn in by the location and views. The service was average, nothing to write home about but not terrible either.If you're looking for a fresh and delicious meal, we would not recommend Ludlow Bar based on our experience. It's possible that other menu items may be better, but our experience with the calamari and beef rum was disappointing. Hopefully, the management will take note and work on improving the quality of their dishes to match the scenic views.
