Came here expecting decent food from the reviews. Tried the food two days in a row.The Eggs Benedict was quite average at best. Some of the smoked salmon was either frozen or expired, tough to enough cut and chew, coffee was lukewarm.The saving grace would be the staff (hence the second star). I am surprised at how busy the joint it for the locals, each to their own I guess..

Delicious! I had the bacon and eggs and added avocado which was 4 dollars but it was a whole avocado smashed, so well worth the addition. We sat outside in the sun for mothers day, and the service was lovely. The coffees came first and was delicious and then the food which was amazing. My mother has the smoked salmon low which was amazing and the dill creamed cheese with salmon and a poached egg was to die for. Well worth to come weekly or passing through if you're a tourist

Looking for a breakfast spot and spotted The Proprietor, it was VERY busy, full tables, people lining up waiting for takeaways . Was told there was a wait of 30mins so they could catch up as being public holiday they were slammed! Staff were very gracious, organised and within 10mins we’d place coffee order… delicious then not long after food order was taken. Wait for food was worth it‼️

popular spot with seating outside & small tight area inside felt a little cramped , very close to the next table, Theres table service with friendly staff, Food was enjoyable, Wife swears the OJ was not freshly Squeezed as she asked for bottled ?. Mocha was nice , No coffee flavour options eg, Vanilla..

Walked in for brunch at an admittedly busy time of the day. When being seated, I asked whether it would be possible to have a seat outside as it was quite loud within the café itself. However, I was told that they were already too busy and that it would be better if we just sat where he put us. Paired with a clearly disgruntled attitude by staff, the interaction itself was not a nice one.Now, this would have been okay had we been treated like patrons following this. However, we proceeded to wait 30 minutes to have our order taken while three other tables that were seated after us had their order taken and food delivered. We were constantly ignored by staff even though we were the only one with menus waiting to order.Couldn’t sit through anymore so we left to have brunch elsewhere. While I can’t attest for the food, the service was atrocious.

Very Mouthful amount of food, but very long wait for having that delicious food.

I had a great breakfast here. The staff were absolutely exceptional, and the food was both tasty and great value for money. We got an Eggs Benedict and an egg and bacon sandwich, and both were really good! I particularly liked the homemade (I think) barbecue sauce on the egg and bacon sandwich. The iced chocolate was nice, but not amazing though, so I'd recommend getting something different. Even still, I really enjoyed my visit here, and would highly recommend it!!!

We were a party of ten and promptly found a great table in the back. Service was excellent! Every dish offered was delicious. The presentation of the food was also very well done! They serve breakfast and lunch until closing. Coffees and chai latte delicious! Be sure to try the Poached Pear!

Had a great breakfast and coffee here. Lovely spot in the sun, coffee was excellent, food was amazing. My partner had the green bowl, I had the big breaky. Both were top notch, tasty and very fresh produce. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Definitely worth a visit next time you're in Albury

Regularly visit Albury for work and this cafe is the best in town for variety, flavours and service. It can get loud and will get busy so expect some noise at peak periods.Quality food and quality service
