Wonderful atmosphere and so much fun. The Club is split over 3 levels, each with something different to offer. Plenty of room to move around. Stairs could be troublesome for some people but mostly the place accommodates for all needs. Love the look and feel of the place on the inside. Looking in from the outside it doesn't look like much but it really is worth the visit.

Interesting place for a meal and a beer.Food quality was above your run of the mill pub fare, with some interesting but sometimes repetative sauces accompanying the courses. Meals were not too large but more than enough to leave you full.Staff efficiency was exceptional, with no fake friendships, so you can concentrate on eating and enjoying the company of those you came with.

This is always a good place to go and grab delicious German beer and traditional food. Generally quiet except those days with live music or parties. Nice atmosphere either way. Great staff. Love going there! Recommended!!

I had a wonderful time but i did drink 1•3 litres of beer. The meals took a while to arrive but they were quite good. Plenty of parking on Flinders street inside seating is not cramped. The toilets are reasonably well ventilated and clean. One of the sinks had a dodgy tap. There are a few stairs to negotiate but they have a small disability lift that must be operated by staff. There's plenty of wood and carpets to soak up the noise and conversation is easy. Staff are good humored and happy to engage in conversation. I don't like going to town or anywhere its 50kmh but I'm glad other people go there and keep it going. I would recommend the German club to anyone who wants to feed 4people with a complimentary beer each for $80. Free on street parking is the icing on the cake. Iff only Germany had won the war. Instead of speed cameras we would have autobahns.

Nice food and atmosphere. Incredibly slow and poor service. Waited over an hour for a schnitzel after paying for it! Granted it was a busy night, but if you know there's an event on in the club, add extra staff. There was one person taking meal orders and one person at the adjacent Bar serving drinks. Having a queue of 20-30 people standing around my table while they wait to order their food is not my idea of an enjoyable experience. New management strategies are needed.

We had dinner here because we had a voucher and I'm so glad we did because the food and service was excellent! We will go back again and again. Very friendly,loved the atmosphere. Pretzel for entree was delicious and my beef goulash was just as I hoped it would be.Next time will try something different. Really enjoyable with the accordian players in the background.

I love this place on a cold Saturday afternoon and enjoy watching the members sitting at the bar and whiling away the afternoon with good food, booze and company. I had a trio of sausage and my friend had a schnitzel and of course we had to have two glasses of wine and two glasses of beer to wash it all down. Left very full, happy and satisfied.

My family is of German origin so going here is like a little piece of Germany! Had the salted pretzel for entree and Trio of sausages with sauerkraut and mash potato for main and it was delicious! And a very good portion size. Beer selection is great and available in steins! Service is friendly and pricing is affordable. Highly recommend! #SCHNELL
