Terrible and expensive experience. We were quoted for work - we paid the deposit (5% of $38,000) - MJ Harris decided not to undertake the works but to keep our deposit of $1,900!No attempt was made to negotiate or explain the circumstances as to why the entire project was dropped and what this meant for us and our money paid.Necessarily and vital works were also not accounted for in the quotation.After a nightmare of phone calls - emails and delays, a small amount was refunded - $500. Embarrassing. This is not right.Customer beware. Not their first time.

MJ Harris have excellent staff who are totally customer focussed and responsive. Both Chris and Josh were reliable and responsive. The job was done with a minimum of fuss and to a very good standard. I would recommend MJ Harris and would certainly use them again. Mona

Pay your employees you animals

We engaged MJ Harris to completely renovate our kitchen, meals, family room and lounge room. MJ Harris wasn't the cheapest quote, but gave us confidence that they could deliver. They more than lived up to their promises.The whole end to end process was very professionally managed by their designer and project manager, Jenni. The design process was excellent, and all works were completed on time and within budget. Some minor changes we requested were included at no extra cost or time, while others were quoted and added with no extra time. We were particularly happy that works were completed by our Easter deadline. All trades really looked after everything and cleaned up after themselves every day. Jenni kept us constantly up to date on progress and any decisions needed from us. The quality of the the complete works is excellent and is better than expected.Thanks for a great job! Peta and John

Excellent and professional work.MJ Harris recently painted the exterior of our 1940’s, 2 story weatherboard house. The team who worked on the 1-month job were professional, courteous and fun to have around the house. We really appreciated the integrated nature of the service that MJ Harris provided and when issues arose, as they do with old weatherboard houses, the team provided a series of costed fixes for the issues. I have no issues in recommending them to my family and neighbors
