Whilst there were problems with the delivery process, I am happy with the way Dowell have responded to the issues. The windows themselves are a great design and make a huge difference to the noise levels in our home as well as update the look of our 1970s home.

Tracey was very professional, responsive and amazing, she was able to organise technicians to my house very promptly. The technicians were also very professional and completed the job amazingly. I couldn’t have asked for better service.

As a Builder Dowell have cost me over 20k on just two projects, as a Builder and a client stay as far away from them as possible, their incompetence will shock you.

We often purchase windows and doors from Dowell windows Queanbeyan and have always found the staff a pleasure to deal with.

My experience with Dowell was exceptional! A window frame had been damaged in the Canberra hail storm, and after making a claim through my insurance company and receiving their quote for the replacement and labor, I contacted Dowell who were the original manufacturers. Gary quoted less than a quarter of my insurer including measuring and installing the screen. Excellent service with an identical replacement - thank you Dowell and Gary :)

I just wanted to purchase a part for our Dowell alfresco sliding doors. It has been almost 3 months since - despite calling, emailing and going to their store a few times, which is not a short drive. Still waiting.

My builder suggested that I secure through him a quote for 4 windows and a folding door from Dowell Queanbeyan although he warned me he had been previously embarrassed by broken promises and delays in receiving quotes from them. We were ready to proceed with a quote from a competitor, which we had received in 3 days, but wanted to compare and consider products and pricing. We had an interesting discussion with the rep and were promised a quick quotation. The builder rang after a fortnight to ask where it was and it was promised again. He waited another 10 days and it was promised again. After a month, he was told that the rep had left and the specs needed to be submitted again. It would have been much kinder to be simply told they were not interested. The impact of the month delay is that we can no longer schedule the work before Xmas as originally planned and the builder is embarrassed that he made the suggestion. Some companies stay in business despite their business model, not because of it.

Very bad service i finished my house construction like 5-6 months ago my builder order all the windows and screens from Dowell i am still wating on screen doors for 2 slide doors i have emaild and called multiple time sometimes they don't answer sometimes they do and say they will get it sorted and no one shows up very disappointed
