We purchased an early 80s town house which, when we first saw it, we almost turned around and walked out, given the condition it was in, untouched and well used for nearly 40 years. The other challenge was, for a family of 4 (plus a dog) it was on a very tight footprint.The location and stunning outlook were its saving grace.We knew there was potential but we needed someone who could see past the limitation to unlock the opportunity, particularly someone that could work with a small space and so do the location justice.We selected Anna because she was undeterred by the challenge. After discussing our lifestyle and expectations Anna went away and returned with many creative solutions addressing the challenges the town house posed.We went through several iterations to arrive at a design and cost that we found acceptable.Anna recommended a builder who, after several meetings, we appointed and work commenced.The entire town house was entirely gutted and we rebuilt it from ground up, as well as acquired all new furniture/furnishings as part of the project.As with any project this size there were surprises and challenges, and Anna worked closely with us and the builder, to keep the project on time and on budget, and had an open collaborative approach when it came to finishes and furnishing.The final result is quite stunning. The design and storage solutions Anna implemented means that we are not even aware of the town house’s size limitations and everyone who sees our beautiful house is blown away.Our number one brief to Anna at the beginning was we wanted something with a WOW factor, and she definitely delivered!

A friend recommended Anna to me when I mentioned that I was looking for someone to help with the décor of my brand new apartment in Cammeray. Anna was terrific, from sussing out my “design style”, to developing a concept and offering options for the layout, furniture and even new artwork. She also placed all of the orders and arranged delivery, so it was a comprehensive service. I have ended up with a beautiful apartment that is a pleasure to welcome family and friends to. Anna and her team helped us re-design and present our new home that has made it an absolute pleasure to enjoy. Anna is a clever, creative and pragmatic interior designer, who helped me finish off my new house effortlessly. Anna took the brief for my new bedroom furniture and linens, curtains, shutters, pendant lights and a heap of other elements I needed to turn my house into a warm home, offering helpful, friendly advice along the way. She came back quickly with fantastic options, and was flexible in the way we executed to accommodate my budget and timeframe. I loved the way Anna incorporated things I already had so well with new purchases. She has a real flare with colour, space and design, but also really listened to what I wanted, so the result was fabulous for me. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Anna or use her again.

Anna assisted us (family of 4 – almost 5) to furnish our new purchase, a 4-bedroom Federation Era home on the LNS. Moving from a 3-bedroom rental, we were finally ready to invest in quality interior design, suitable for a house of children but with defined adult spaces – and couldn’t agree on how to go about it. The brief included three indoor living areas, an outdoor entertainment space, two children’s bedrooms, a playroom and the master-bedroom – and at least one family member terrified of colour! We were overwhelmed with the idea of progressing alone (amidst Covid-19 no less) and so called in Anna.Anna brought a defined and methodical approach and understood the balance we were trying to achieve, between a home suitable for adult company and a place where we (and our young children) felt comfortable. The pieces she chose paid homage to the character of the house, but had a contemporary twist and perfectly balanced the varied tastes. Anna came to consultations fully prepared, with many ideas and graciously revisited these when they (rarely!) didn’t quite hit the mark. She managed the ordering, deliveries and furniture placement, and when an item came damaged it was switched out with no fuss. Anna was able to provide tradesmen as / when required – and organise for custom designs to suit our space and taste.Overall – working with Anna was a joy. We are so pleased with our home, and Anna managed to turn what may have been a series of stressful decisions into a smooth, relaxed and enjoyable process. We look forward to continuing to work with Anna to increasingly put our touch on our new spaces.

I have worked with Anna on 2 occasions, I think it is important to note I was a repeat customer as we were so happy with the first engagement! Anna has helped with room updates as our family has grown up and we were ready to have a relaxed adult home (less toys and mess!) feel. Working with our budget, Anna discussed what we wanted from each of the spaces, and then planned and sent us story boards and ideas.
