Good food, ok service (qr code website affair) but staff are pleasant when seating/bringing food/clearing.Surprisingly busy for a rainy Saturday lunch, not a spare seat left in the place not long after we got in. Good to see for somewhere off King Street so a little hidden as we do enjoy coming here, so if you're planning ahead you may wish to make a reservation.Ramen's good, nice broth, highly recommend trying the black garlic. Shame the Hiroshimayaki is not available at the moment, it's their signature dish and really should be tried!

Have been multiple times to this place and truly enjoy it. Great variety of dishes. Seafood is fresh, rice smells amazing and cooked properly as is some top sushi places in Singapore. Staff is super friendly and cooking time is extremely fast!

I’ve been craving okonomiyaki for quite some times and yes this place hits the spot! Their okonomiyaki was made fresh to order to all ingredients taste fresh and the outside was crunchy and the inside was piping hot. The karaage tonkotsu ramen was pretty good as well but I wish it has more toppings as the portion size was a little bit small. However the ramen noodles are chewy and cooked to perfection and broth has a dept of porky flavour and wasn’t too fatty or dense. Food was served quickly after approximately 5-10 mins waiting and staff is all nice and polite. Great ambience with wooden slats decor which gives a modern vibe. Will come back to try their sushi and sashimi next time for sure.P.s: came back to try their sushi and yes they were delicious too. The snow cheese prawn sushi roll was savoury and has great portions. The tofu seaweed salad with sesame dressing is another great option.

The establishment is cozy and reminiscent of a Japanese izakaya bar. The staff are attentive and there are options to order food via an app.The food quality is very fresh and there is a good range of Japanese inspired foods. Definitely a place to visit!

Overall is good. Small and cozy restaurant. I have ordered 4 dishes. Crispy Chicken Katsu Don is average. Spicy miso ramen and Tonkotsu ramen, both of them are tasty and nice. Unfortunately, Black garlic tonkotsu ramen, the ramen was under cook. The garlic in the soup was burned and bitter. Friendly staff. Recommended

Smart Japanese restaurant, where you scan a QR to view the menu and order from your phone.Decor is modern and clean, with a view of the chefs and the sashimi bar.Food to typical sushi, dons, and ramen. Ramen is ok - nothing amazing and the soup is quite thin. Curry is excellent. Shushi is great too. Staff friendly.

It's a great little place, and a standout addition to Newtown! Fresh flavours, great menu, good prices, and serving sizes. The okonomyaki and sashimi were outstanding, and the hakata ramen was a decent contender - a little light, but still good. Some nice sake too! I'm definitely going back.

Lovely sushi place that hits the right balance between fancy sit-down sushi restaurant and the bulk standard takeaway place. It's casual, sit-down with a nice vibe.Food is good and reasonably priced. The sushi is a bit sloppy (seaweed on maki rolls not cleanly rolled), but the ingredients are fresh and service is quick.⏰ There's often a queue, but come after it's just opened and you'll get a seat straight away.❗You order by QR code and are charged a surcharge for paying by card, even though that's the only option. That annoys me a bit.

You might need to wait for a not so long- I have not seen this place without a queue.But it worst waiting.Chefs are cooking fresh food and if you see at the bar sits, you will watch how they cook.The taste is great and the price are not very high.Very close to a train station and location is quiet convenient.

Wow did I catch a flight and end up in Hokkaido? No, it was my 2015 Volkswagen Polo that took me here.Exceptional food, fantastic service. Very authentic. If you haven't eaten the okonomiyaki here, you haven't lived.
