The Exotic Animal Inn

I cannot thank Shannen and Emelie at The Exotic Animal Inn for everything they did for our bunny, Finn. My partner and I got married and needed someone to take care of Finn during the wedding and honeymoon. Unfortunately Finn was sick on and off for the 2 weeks that Shannen was looking after him, so she took him to work with her (at her vet clinic) a few times to get him looked at and treated. Knowing that Shannen and Emelie are both vet nurses helped put our mind at ease, as we knew Finn was in the best care he could possibly have. Shannen treated him like he was her own and her dog, Kip adored him too. She sent us regular updates and photos of him and always kept us in the loop when he was in the clinic being treated. Finn absolutely adored Shannen and Kip. He was so affectionate towards them and that made us so happy knowing that he was enjoying his stay. Unfortunately the day after we picked Finn up, he got sick again (he was an old bunny - almost 10 years old) and we had to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to him. Emelie was at the clinic when we brought him back in and she was so sweet and sympathetic towards us, we can't thank her enough for being with us during one of the hardest days of our lives. Finn was so lucky to have Shannen and Emelie look after him. They genuinely cared for him and if we ever got another bunny, we would 100% use The Exotic Animal Inn again. Thank you so so much to Shannen and Emelie. You guys have no idea how much we appreciate you and everything you did for us and Finn.

We absolutely love having our ferret Vlad stay with the team at Exotic Animal Inn. He has now stayed with them over Christmas and Easter, and we had such a wonderful experience both times. They send timely daily updates with lots of fun details about our boy, always including photos and videos of his shenanigans. He comes back looking happy and healthy. The team have always showed so much enthusiasm and love for our pet, been super accomodating with our travels and time, and have us feel very confident and secure in his safety and well-being. It’s not easy to find someone to look after a pet like the ferret, and so having Exotic Animal Inn here really meets our needs for a specialised pet boarding service. We are so grateful to them.

My bearded dragon “toothless” stayed with animal exotic in for 2 weeks in December. They kept me updated with constant photos and videos. They always made sure my little boy was well loved and taken care of. I’ll definitely be definitely using exotic animal inns’ service again.

Had an amazing boarding experience for a couple of days here for my 5 bunnies. We got daily photo and video updates and bunnies were very happy in big pens, well taken care of including their daily meds. Also really appreciated the pick up and drop off, thanking the staff for their quick response and being able to accommodate as we had to change boarding dates at short notice. Will definitely be returning to this 5-star pet hotel!

Our pigmy dragon Lionel was so well looked after and loved his stay at the Inn. We got photos/videos and updates everyday. All his needs were taken care of. Amazing group of people that truely love what they do. We got back to a very happy dragon. Lionel will be back again.

Our rabbit Lucky stayed with the Inn for 4 days. We got updates everyday and the ladies that took care of him were lovely so thank you to Rosie, Kylie and Shannen. My only feedback was that it would’ve been good to see some photos of Lucky’s living arrangements at the Inn and more photos in general. But other than that, I would recommend the Exotic Animal Inn :)

Our guinea pig has stayed at the Exotic Family Inn twice now. I am so impressed with the level of care which is excellent. I had daily communication about him, including photos and films, and loved hearing about how he was going. I had complete peace of mind which we were away, priceless.

Where do I start? From the ease of dropping your pets off to the updates and pictures you receive whilst you’re away…to the ease of picking your pets up!!! The love and care that these girls put into running this Inn is remarkable. I wouldn’t choose anywhere else. They’re a godsend.

Thank you all so much for the excellent care and attention given to Hailey my red collar lorikeet. I felt so assured whilst away on holidays that she was being loved. The daily updates and photos were much appreciatedI would highly recommend the Inn.

The staff at the Exotic Animal Inn are fantastic. Each day I received a message and photos regarding my pets stay. My birds were treated as well as they are at home. I'm so glad I found this place and will certainly use them again for future stays.
