Avis Car & Truck Rental Brighton

Dishonest staff. I returned the car with a full fuel tank so I don't get charged with their excessive price. No problems that day. Three days later the bill came up with an extra $50 dollar charge. They claim they refuelled the car with 14L of petrol. The petrol station is only 1km away from them. Not more than 1 hour before I returned the car. I paid $40 for a 26L refuel of the car. Now they are saying I cannot contest the bill because they refuelled the car. Offered me a discount for the refuelled petrol. But that was not the case. The staff is being dishonest or stealing petrol to returned cars. No transparency and they can charge you in bond if your not careful.

All good, but took a lot of photocopying and signing to get the car.

Rented a truck to help me move house. All the staff where super helpful and informative. The entire process was very easy and the fact they are located next to a patrol station makes returning the van very easy. I booked online and did pre check in so the process was very quick. The van was new with only a few thousand Ks on it. Was alright to drive considering it’s size. Came with a good reversing camera which was helpful

Just wanted to hire a car to get me from AtoB while I wait for my new car and was literally accused of fraud. Don’t recommend this branch to anyone.

I just pickup a car for 6 days. I could not believe how dirty it was when i drive away. Very poor Avis.

Waited 30 minutes for them to process 2 people before me. People are slow and couldn’t care less

Have been a long time AVIS customer and have always enjoyed solid prices, their quick and friendly service. Now with the AVIS preferred customer option and mobile app it has even gotten better and quicker.
