Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, gorgeous wine. Prawn entree with chilli was the standout. They even wrote happy birthday on my husbands dessert plate. Our male server was lovely. Will definitely be back.

My partner and I were after somewhere special to celebrate our anniversary and we found it here at Amanda's On The Edge.Warmly welcomed as soon as we walked in the door. Service was attentive, friendly, prompt and just the right amount of interaction.The food, OMG it was amazing. We both just loved the quality and taste of each of the three meals. My pork belly entrée was deliciouly tender with crispy crackling on top. The Scotch Fillet main was the best cooked steak I have had in years. Juicy and melted in your mouth. I would also have to say that Crème Brûlée dessert being my choice of dessert when ever we go out, that this serving was the best I have ever had.It is the little things that also add to an exceptional experience and we were delighted at how they took note that it was our anniversary and wrote a lovely little chocolate sauce message on our dessert plate.We are so impressed with the visit last night that we have being happily recommending the venue to our family and friends plus popped an Instagram post up to spread the word that if you are after somewhere special or celebrating an occasion then this is the resturant to book. We will be back.

What a beautiful spot to dine in!! We went to Amanda’s for dinner to celebrate our anniversary and it certainly did not disappoint. To begin with the place is beautiful and so cozy, the service is amazing, the staff looked after us and were so friendly.The food was next level, everything was cooked to perfection, and served in perfect timing, not long waits and no rushing.We had the gnocchi and pork belly to start with, linguini with prawns and steak as mains and for dessert crème brûlée and Hungarian crepes, simply amazing.We will definitely go again and try some of the other dishes next time we are in The Hunter Valley.

My mother and I had such a wonderful experience at Amanda’s on the Edge. The staff provided impeccable 5 star service and are very attentive, the food is delicious and the view is truly breathtaking. It’s very rare I feel the need to tell everyone about an outstanding experience but Amanda’s on the edge is one of those places.

Hands down the best place to eat my hubby's steak was exactly how he likes it my entrees and dinner was amazing and the desert was next level. The icecream was the smoothest most delicious icecream I've ever tasted! Thanks so much for an enjoyable night we will be back!

Came for lunch recently. Greeted and seated by attentive and friendly staff. Had gnocchi with mushrooms and king prawns for entrees which were both delicious. My partner could have eaten several bowls of the prawns as they were that good. Main we had the chicken curry which was fantastic and the prawn linguine which was good but not as good as the previous dishes. For dessert we had the sticky pudding which was perfection. Although I wasn't a fan of the crepe. Lovely view and kangaroos resting nearby which was a treat. Overall a great experience and some really good food. Would recommend.

Where to start, I guess the goodArrived 15 minutes early, for our 17:30 booking, an older gentleman opened the door for us,Seated at the window, with spectacular view, gave us some extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar for our 1 piece of bread each, at $120.00 pp you'd think we'd get more,For the entree I got the snapper and crab ravioli which was nice given it was my first time trying crab, the filling seemed dry, the sauce it was served in was quite nice,Next was the main I got the fish of the day, which was a coral trout with a cottage cheese filo and asparagus, fish was cooked very well and could tell it was a high quality fish/fresh, however, it lacked flavour was quite bland given the price I had made sure I didn't eat before hand,The desert was a chocolate mouse and icecream was great could not fault,Now my partner had bought it to the waitress attention that her duck was dry and my fish had no flavour, and I only ate it because i was hungry,The response was quite unexpected, the rudness given from the waitress was unexpected, turns out the waitress was Amanda, wow to be told she had served 50 ducks that weekend was to say every single duck is going to be the same,when we were given deserts another comment was made about dinner, saying my partner had eaten at the bone and hadn't gotten to the succulent part? How do you eat at the bone without trying the whole duck?On our exit Amanda had followed us to the door and slammed it behind us, what an experience to treat tourists...Will not recommend to anyone unless you want to keep your opinions to yourself.

This place is amazing great food and great service.3 courses and includes a bottle of wine to share between 2 people.Would highly recommend the ravioli starter/entree (sauce was amazing).Dinner has 2 sittings one at 530 and another 730 but they let us finish our wines outside in the garden :)

We had a great 3 course meal. Every dish was perfect. Very intimate setting, it's like you are dining in their home. Staff were attentive but not too much, which is what we like. The steak was cooked perfectly & the duck was so good. We cannot wait to return next time we are in The Hunter.
