FunKey Swim - Forestdale

We have had a very positive experience with Miss Shay at Funkey Swim. Our son went from hating swimming lessons to absolutely loving them. So glad we switched to Funkey swim. The smaller class size and quieter environment make it a much more pleasant experience.

We have been so impressed by Funkey Swim from the very first contact, they were professional and lovely to talk to. Our expectations were exceeded on our first visit with a lovely clean centre, the intimate setting with just one pool was exactly what we were after. Miss Shay is a bright, bubbly and friendly instructor who welcomed us with open arms. We felt right at home and my 10 year old settled in very quickly for her first holiday swim clinic session. We were so impressed with how much our daughter learnt in just one day we have booked in for the remaining holiday classes and our other two children will commence swimming lessons with Funkey Swim as well. I would highly recommend Funkey Swim to everyone.

THE BEST!!! Even before our son was born, we knew we wanted to ensure he was safe and confident around water. Initially we took him to baby classes at a larger swim school before hearing about Funkey Swim. The difference is incredible! Miss Shay is so professional. I like that she explains how each activity is conditioning the children to be safe around water. She also knows each child so well and shows interest in their development outside of swimming. My son lights up when he sees her. I travel almost half an hour to take my son to swimming but it is so worth it! We have also made great friends with some of the other parents. 100% recommend!!

We would recommend FunKey Swim every day of the week! In fact we’ve recommended FunKey Swim to so many friends in the area with little ones already because we are so happy with the service.Shay is an exceptional teacher, she is super personable and the children adore her. The teachers in us love that Shay explains why activities are developmentally appropriate and how they support our children’s growth. The lessons are fun, a great pace and differentiated to suit the ability of each child, plus so many of the skills learned at swimming are transferable to other things our daughter is learning out of the water.Our daughter absolutely loves her lessons and has learned so much in the past 5 or so months that she has been learning from Shay at FunKey Swim. We can already tell she will be a super confident kid in the water. Highly recommend Shay and FunKey Swim if you are looking for a swim school for your child.

Absolutely loving the sensory playgroups. We have been attending for months now and my little girl loves it. She is very comfortable in the water doing the activities. Shay is an excellent instructor. She always make the effort to make our time there enjoyable and educational. Great value for money. Highly recommend giving it a go

Miss Shay is the best swim teacher, Polly loves her and the lessons, Polly is becoming a great and confident swimmer, Miss Shay is very patient, we love her so much that our little baby Georgia has started her swim lessons too. Thanks Miss Shay.

Miss Shay is an amazing swimming teacher. My daughter has been attending Funkey Swim for the last 2 years. I've seen my daughter's confidence grow in the last 2 years. Miss Shay personalizes her classes to suit your child and tries her very best to encourage confidence in your child. She is very easy going and approachable and always has a big smile on her face. I highly recommend Funkey Swim.

Shay is a great swim instructor. She runs well planned lessons that are scaffolded to each individual child's ability. Shay is very personable and our little one really enjoys seeing her each lesson. We also attend the sensory swimming playgroup and it is the greatest activity for our little one and I thoroughly enjoy participating in the activities as well.
