Thank you Steve for getting us back on track with our car and van. You went out of your way to accommodate us and letting us stay on your premises in our van while you repaired our car. Greatly appreciated.

My partner and I had our car break down on Saturday afternoon passing through Mackay on our way back to Brisbane. Steve came and had a look at our car even though he was already closed, and fit us in first thing on the Monday morning so we were back on the road in no time.This is the best mechanic service I've had; they were reliable, reasonably priced, and such kind and helpful staff! Been getting my vw golf serviced by Steve and the team at Mackay Auto Tech for a couple of years now. The work is always done properly and professionally. They always offer a shuttle service so I can drop my car off before work and get picked up after when the work is completed. Most recently, I needed to have my water pump and connections replaced on my engine. Steve quoted me and ended up finishing the repair for less than the quote and sooner than expected. They also provided a free courtesy car for me while the work was getting done so I could get to and from work for those couple of days. I highly respect and recommend Steve and the team at MAT.

Cannot recommend these guys highly enough! Steve and the guys here were outstanding. We had a incident just out of town while travelling in our caravan and once we rang and told him we were a travelling family his only concern was getting us back on the road safely. And he did within 24 hours. Can’t thank them enough.

This is the best mechanic I have ever been to. I have been ripped off my a lot of mechanics and am always weary of where I go but this place has bought back my faith! A very honest and knowledgeable mechanic who was able to answer all my questions and shed light on any concerns. The receptionist was also very lovely and helpful.
