A1 Auto Transporter

Very dodgy transport service, Rami is very unprofessional and tries to blame other people for their own fault of damaging my car while in there possession. Some old guy named Ray is very aggressive towards you, swears at you at also threatens you over the phone. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

Despite all the negative old reviews which put me off at first and had me very worried, I could not be happier with the service provided!The customer service was good, she is friendly & called me back the same day for a status update & to my surprise the car was ready for pick up the same day.I used compare quotes & being on a budget, requiring personal belongings in the vehicle, of course I chose the cheapest viable option lolBut without any regrets, I can honestly say that I'm so glad I took the risk.I booked my Lancer Evo IV for depot to depot service from Adelaide to Sydney & it arrived in 11 days which includes 4 weekend days that is technically not calculated for the estimated transit time.The car arrived without a scratch or any damage to the interior.The best thing is that I had the boot jam packed with boxes of spare parts including a carbon fibre bootlid in the back seat that did not go missing.This is what I was most concerned about as the boxes contained ~$3K worth of aftermarket parts & there is no liability for personal goods.

After speaking to numerous transporters I found Oliver, from A1 Transporter by hiring this organisation it made my moving from Sydney to Brisbane very stress-free I would recommend them with out any hesitation.

Booked my Ford Ranger in for transport from Sydney to Brisbane. Was greeted by a foul mannered individual that was apparently the site manager. To my amazement the crook tried to tell me a ford ranger takes up two car spaces. After paying $500 online I`m now told that if i want to leave my car there its now going to be an additional $500 fee. Avoid yourself the hassle, dont use these people.

This 'company' doesn't deserve one star.They caused significant damage to my classic car, purely because it was a 'non-runner' at the time they transported it. A1 Auto Transporter openly admitted to using fork lifts (fork lifts!) to load non-runners on to their carriers.These cowboys refuse to admit liability, despite blatant negligence, claiming damage happened prior to pick-up, despite evidence to the contrary.I suspect they fully rely on wronged client's inability to pay court costs to continue this practice.I know companies have ceased to employ A1 as their carriers following my dispute with them, and rightly so. Please do yourselves a favour and find a transporter that won't cause thousands of dollars worth of repairs and / or court fees.

Seriously dodgy.The guy apparently in charge is rude, aggressive and seems to think it's reasonable to charge a holding fee if the car is not picked up within 24 hours of delivery, despite it not being part of the service agreement or being pre-warned.
