Moved here from Melbourne without seeing the apartment, Heli was extremely helpful with giving me options without having to be there. Very quick to respond to emails or phone calls of we needed anything. Moving in has been a breeze with been shown the building from top to bottom thoroughly. Nikki has made us feel very welcome. Couldn't say anything bad about Aqua!

Having recently moved to Australia from Canada, the Aqua Building has been absolutely perfect for my transition. The building is next to new, always clean, the apartments are spacious and full of light, and the management team is one that is both friendly and reliable. Manru in the office is especially thorough, efficient, quick to deliver responses to any questions and caring towards the Aqua guests. I love living here! It’s a perfect building & area for someone who is single, in a partnership, or has a small family like ourselves. The pool is kept clean and tidy, the lifts are quick and never too crowded, and the building is in such a great location close to the BP, restaurants, and Gasworks. Highly recommend.

Location was amazing ! and the building was always kept clean, however we had a few issues with our unit. The AC barely reached one of the bedrooms, which routinely shot to >30C Management just acknowledged the AC works like that. Meanwhile the rest of the flat would be <24C.Electricity is extremely high for such a small space, the building recently changed over to Meter2Meter and you didn't have an option to choose. Not to mention the water charges were also extreme.Also the units are not that soundproof, with traffic and music from the local pubs keeping you awake at all hours. I would not recommend to live here, if noise bothers you and also if you don't want huge electricity bills for an aircon that barely works in one room.Positive - The staff were always lovely and polite.

Went there for unit inspection the other day and got offended by the property manager's bad attitude. Tho she didn't discriminate me verbally, she was being so indifferent to me, yet the next second she can smile and greet the white people happily. Also the way she look at me is so judgemental and I can feel her contempt for me. Ironically, she too is an asian. what a shame. But I'll definitely recommend this apartment to white people as you'll be sure treated nicely and friendly.

We lived here for 1 year. Got an apparently good price for a 2-bedroom unit at level 11. But the central AC barely reached one of the bedrooms, which routinely shot to >30C during most of the year - since the sun floods the windows from dawn. Management just acknowledged the AC works like that. Meanwhile the rest of the flat would be <24C. End result: 2nd bedroom doomed to be an unlivable storage space. Not such a good price after all.Plus, there's some acoustics freak effect going on, which makes the pub just in front of Aqua sound MUCH louder at this level than at ground level. Management didn't even allow us to ask in the building's FB group whether others had the same. Was generally survivable with a permanently closed balcony window, but the glass would still rattle with the bass. Also, the pub repeats some bands pretty frequently, gets boring after a couple of weeks :P.The pool is in shadow most of the day, and the rooftop can't be accessed after 10PM - forget about firework events or dawn view breakfast unless there's some organized Management petitioning. Feels silly to see the buildings in front celebrating big rooftop parties until late.Generally, Management was rather heavy-handed. Maybe people are that bad and they had no other option? But sure sounded like lots of stick and preciously little carrot.Interestingly, when we first visited the building there was a TON of saying hi" around

I have lived in many rented apartments over the years and can honestly say I have never been as impressed as I am at Aqua. Nothing is too much trouble for the Building Manager. She seriously makes living here a joy. Not planning on moving any time soon!

My partner and I had arranged to view an apartment here on Saturday 13/02 at 10am. We arrived at 9:45 and waited patiently outside the office. After numerous attempted calls and emails we left an hour later without any communication from the management as to why we were stood up. We then received an email this afternoon saying that the apartment had already been leased and we were apparently notified of this. Their apparent proof was a document (no proof of email being sent) dated before we even received confirmation of the inspection. Clearly just management trying to cover their mistakes. Not happy and will be telling everyone we know to steer clear.

Have just renewed for my third year living in Aqua - love the apartment I've got, and the building management are fantastic. I've lived in 5 different apartments in Newstead and Teneriffe in the last 8 years, and Aqua is the best by far. Several initiatives have been very popular here; vege garden on the roof, a shared early morning rooftop breakfast, the book exchange/library, monthly charity collections - the list goes on. Building manager always has time for a quick word, and is super responsive to any issues that need to be raised.

Just moved into this building, the building is very cozy with good location and nice neighborhood. The onsite management are fabulous, friendly and always contactable. Just one thing, as I am working at home as IT consultant, it took me 2 weeks to get internet connection which is a disaster. I know It was due to telstra's bureaucracy but wonder if Aqua can provide direct wifi connection service, I believe most tenants will applaud for that.

The management here is the best I've ever had in a Brisbane apartment complex. They were extremely friendly, compassionate and looked after its residents well. Even after having mail accidentally sent to our old address, they were extremely helpful and kind. Manru and Amanda are the best :) 10/10 would rent here again.
