Zucca Mezze Restaurant. (New name Sea lounge)
Sunday lunch 14/1/2018 gorgeous day happy to pick this restaurant as it looked good with great views and nice and clean. Waitress was excellent and friendly. The food was a mixed bag. The fried calamari was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection, the sausage dish was beautifully presented and extremely moreish. Then we were let down by the Greek Salata which had seen better days, obviously it was not made to order and had been sitting around for awhile, then the bigger disappointment was the Grilled Octopus which after two mouthfuls of rubbery chewing gave up and left the rest. Would I come here again, probably not as there are too many other restaurants to try.

I thought most of the food was very nice, especially the calamari and pita breads and dips but sadly two of us had grilled octopus for main course which was really tough and chewy. The service was okay but the decor needs some tlc. We sat at the premier table overlooking the ocean and the wall next to me had splatter marks all over it which looked like it had been there for a while. It was really off putting. The atmosphere was average also. Lots of better choices to eat nearby.

Amazing food, great restaurant with lovely atmosphere and views over the marina. Service was friendly and helpful. Very impressed seen as the restaurant has only been open a few days. Bit of a wait for food, but understandable on a busy Friday night. Such a wonderful mix of flavours. Would recommend to anyone, and I'm sure it will improve even more more with time

They prepared a very good vegan lasagne for my daughter. I had moussaka, very good as well. My husband had fish. All happy with those dishes. The view is perfect. We were sitting next to the window. It was very windy, so it was a great escape and possibility to see the he ocean. The restaurant was half empty, so did not have to wait for long. The main problem they have a very limited list of salads and they do not have good choice of sweet things. I wanted to order something fancy go with coffee, but they had nothing to offer.

Overall nice, friendly service and food with lovely views of the beach. However, apart from their delicious breads, felt the food was just ok n' unfortunately nothing special or different.

Lots to like but also has great upside. Great staff. Food was done on a char grill which was a plus. Flavours on the lamb and chicken. Yiros plates were too small for the price. Like a lot of the Pier, the restaurant looks tired and could do with a coat of paint on decorating to add to the overall experience.

Food was pretty good, i had the twice cooked duck which was absolutely superb and some of the best duck ive ever had and which also came with a bowl of mashed potato which was so nice and smooth and fluffy. My girlfriend had a bowl of moussaka which was a bit more disappointing, it came out as just this little tiny bowl with nothing else, tasted abit bland to be quite honest and my girlfriend actually felt a bit sick afterwards too, may have just been because the sauce was abit rich, i dont know, but the difference between the duck and the moussaka was massive, almost like they were made by two different restaurants. Our waiter was also a little hard to understand as she was Asian which is a bit weird considering you are in a Greek restaurant but still she was very friendly which is a lot better than some other restaurants. Anyway i would definitely recommend the twice cooked duck for anyone planning on eating at zucca, the prices are probably about on par with a restaurant at the marina pier, and you have the awesome view so its definitely worth a try for anyone looking for a half decent greek restaurant

Food was amazing!! Shared a meat platter and it was great.The service on the otherhand, not so amazing.Arrived at 8.05pm reservation was at 8. Girl had put reservation at 7.30pm even though she specifically told me over the phone they had no spots at 7.30 so I booked for 8. People before us had no reservation and was given our table. Then had to wait 15-20 minutes for a table to be changed. Finally got to the table got menus and was told water was coming. Waitress come to take order 15 minutes later, I had to ask for table water. Ordered, table water brought over, no glasses. Had to ask another waitress for glasses for the water. People that arrived after us received their food before us (similar order). Another couple gets up and leave as I'm assuming they've also been sitting there for sometime for their order. Finally got food at 9.15. No waitress come up to ask how we were, none come up to ask if we would like more drinks, and none come up to remove plates. The girl with the short brown hair was incredibly rude to the other waitresses.Food amazing! Staff... 0 stars.
