Gold's Gym Port Kennedy

Has everything you need and doesn't cost a lot. We're ok holidays and only paid $80 for a 1 month membership.It's never overcrowded, and I've been there most hours of the day. 4am - 6pm lol when you're on holidays you just go whenever.

Really comfortable. The gym is massive in size with lots of space and equipment. This makes it easy not step on each other toes or having to wait an eternity for someone to finish exercising before you can get on a machine.

Golds gym port kennedy is the largest gym I've ever been to and I've been to quite afew!There are 4 spacious function areas and an outdoor area. A competition level weight practice area, an upper floor cardio area - with every type of machine, a crossfit area, and a gym floor with several different machines.The Creche team are amazing and are people I genuinely feel comfortable leaving my 5 month old with. The counter team are also great, very easy going. The in gym store is awesome, you can get apparel, pre workout, BCCA powders, Protein or even make your own protein smoothie after your workout, for a cost.This gym is busiest between 9-10.30 am weekdays, or 5-7.30pm weeknights, except Friday. As these times also line up with classes.Definently my favourite gym out of the golds gyms for the atmosphere, but not for well maintained / newer machines. Kennedy Park is better on that front.

Awsome gym to join out of many available highly recomended to anyone in search of joining a gym south of the river great equipment a much larger facility then many other gyms around deserves every star

This is a tough one. Most of the staff are great, the equipment is great. Awesome they have a sauna. But the fact the charge you $50 to leave is kind of criminal I think. For the benifit of you no longer being able to come they charge you. They do disclose this at the start, but I didn't think it'd be an issue as I wasn't planning on leaving. Then I had to leave. I think the $80 odd dollar joining fee kind of covered that..Other cons :$50 for a new tag that probably costs no more than $5.No return deposit for tagsPros:-Cheaper membership $10 pw and classes only an extra $5-Has a childcare service-Has a sauna-Bathrooms and showers are clean

My experience trying to renew my membership has not been pleasant. I prefer to pay yearly however they are charging yearly at nearly $200 dollars more than if you pay by fortnightly instalments.When trying to determine what my best payment option was and asking questions, the manger was arrogant with an aggressive tone and poor body language.And has zero care for loyal customer.The only good thing about the gym is the equipment and space. Don't expect to much from the staff.

Great facility with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Has some of the best strongman specific training equipment in the state as well as a huge functional fitness area. Highly recommended
