Sea Haze Villas
Went 24/11/-27/11/2014. Prefab villas located in Port Broughton. Has been rated at 3 stars but I have seen some 4 star accomodation not a s good as these. Owners fantastic and thought of travellers every needs. Premises extremely clean, provided bread, jams etc, coffee, litre of milk, litre of orange juice, lots of toiletries, etc. The cleanest place we have ever stayed in while using Travel Auctions. Premises consists of master bedroom (Queen size) , second bedroom has double bed on bottom with single above. Location is one lane back from the beach and jetty easy walk to go fishing. Pub next door and the villas are in the side lane area which makes it very quiet, shop opening 6 am opposite providing for snacks, great bacon and egg sandwiches, fishing bait and takeaway meals. Supermarket and fuel within 100 metres. During off season Pt Broughton consists of about 1,000 persons in peak summer season increases to 4-5,000.Will definitely return again - good value for money

Won a three night stay at Sea Haze villas on a TV travel auction after watching South Aussie with Cossie. We entered the auction as it's advertised as a pet friendly place, and meant we could take the dogs.Villa #3 was clean and tidy, bed linen and towels etc are supplied, and there are enough pots, plates etc supplied to let you cook if you want.- toaster, electric frying pan, microwave and a hob with two hot plates all supplied. Nice to see a fire extinguisher and fire blanket available as well. There was a floor brush supplied, but a mop would be nice to clean up spills on the vinyl flooring. - Abbey often spills as much water as she drinks! There's a fridge/freezer - with milk, bread and butter supplied, as well as some cereal packets. Two comfy sofas and a TV in the corner for quiet nights in.Double bed was nice and firm, the pillows were a bit soft for us, so if you like firms pillows, might want to bring your own. There is ample storage space in both bedrooms, and the other had a single bed and a bunk bed.The beach is literally two minutes from the doorstep, with dogs enjoying several long walks on the lead. There is an off lead dog park on the outskirts of town about a 5 min drive, and access to the foreshore that appears to be off the leash as well. The chip shop over the road was good, and the pub did a nice range of beers and decent pub grub menu. If you want to cook, there is an IGA supermarket round the corner. There is very patchy phone coverage in Port Broughton. The locals said Telstra was the best carrier, the rest were not up to much. So a personal internet hotspot couldn't be set up.There is a free wi-fi hotspot at the jetty, supplied by tourist authorities and Telstra, but you are limited to an hour a day. Just be aware if you or your kids are electric addicts. On the other hand, it means no text or email interruptions from the boss when on holiday. With decent accommodation and reasonable prices, I'm more than happy to recommend the villas to people, and will look at coming back again when some of the festivals are on in the area.

Stayed at the great Sea Haze Villas alongside the beautiful old hotel at Pt Broughton (again) last weekend for our 55th anniversary, and again were very, very happy. Owner is lovely, and their cleaner is brilliant...everything was extra clean, often not what you get in some 5* places. Plenty of space, comfy bed, even a complimentary continental brekky, all was in working order, & everything you could possibly want is supplied if you prefer to eat in ( but do try the meals and especially the scrumptious melt in your mouth steaks at the Hotel!)Price of villas is so reasonable, and a huge bonus is you can bring your fur baby. Ours was delighted to be coming this time too, when he saw his bed being loaded in the car! The people were friendly -as country people are, -and walking along the Esplanade is beautiful. The Weather Goddess was very kind and sent perfect temperatures and only light breezes. We were able to eat dinner outside the restaurant / Hotel comfortably with our dog every night. Thanks again Angela, for a lovely and memorable visit, and see you soon!.

Beautiful location. However lots of dust in Villa and beds were not set up as per booking, with no one onsite to check in to.BBQ available however gas bottle was empty. We still enjoyed ourselves despite the issues and bad weather

Sea haze villas have an amazing location on the main street. The pub and jetty are just a stroll away. Supermarket is just around the corner and cafes, bakery and chip shop are only a few steps away. There can be some noise from the pub and deliveries to the back of the supermarket but didn't find it to be a problem. The accommodation is dated and is run by a lovely elderly couple. It was tidy, our villa only had a cooktop however the other one had a small toaster oven. Plenty of extra blankets and pillows available. The kids loved playing on the boat in the yard.

My son and I stayed in this very clean, well-equipped villa and enjoyed it very much, the beds were very comfortable with plenty of bedding and even electric blankets for the cooler months. Plenty of appliances for cooking, supplies for breakfast lasted the whole visit. Wonderful to see a full size fridge. Loved the garden and the solar lights. Would happily stay again.

We were very disappointed that we didn't get the 3 bedroom Villa we had booked. We were put in a 2 bedroom Villa and given a uncomfortable folding bed for the third person. There was only one teaspoon with a broken handle. Only 2 wine glasses (different sizes). There was hair on the floor and couch. Food stuff and rubbish under the couch cushions. The Villa really needs a good spring cleaning.NO SMOKE ALARM
