This is a great place to gain local knowledge about gardening in the Western Downs from Penny McKinlay and to buy healthy plants. Easy parking but getting around to look at plants is not suitable for strollers or wheelchair. Children would need to be well-behaved.There is also the larger McKinlay Nursery nearby. Not the cheapest, but it's not Bunnings!

We were delighted to meet Penny McKinlay from channel 7's gardening segment. What a positively delightful woman. So knowledgeable about gardening and the proof is her amazing garden!! We purchased a gorgeous salvia and a mouthwateringly pretty yellow baby Bougainvillea

A fabulous home Nursery(one of two nurseries in Pitsworth) with beautiful rose bushes, wisteria, boganvilia among other excellent plants. Penny McKinlay is a very experienced gardener with her own talk back show on local radio in Toowoomba Queensland. Certainly worth a look if in the area.
