Muummaam Restaurant, Restaurant Barangaroo, Thai Restaurant Barangaroo, Restaurant Barangaroo, Thai Restaurant Barangaroo | Muum maam (moom mum) named after thai slang for “little glutton” or (to eat) sloppily. Muum maam was established in 2010 at Surry Hills and Muum Maam Barangaroo in 2016 as part of Sydney’s biggest food hub near the iconic harbour, at Barangaroo south. Right in the centre of Sydney’s thriving culinary scene, we focus on using fresh ingredients & seasonal produce with traditional flavours and contemporary techniques. We continue the same concept as our original sister restaurant, Muum Maam Surry Hills (closed permanently), with quick thai street food during the day, and casual dining in evening. Our entire team looking forward to welcoming you and your guests for a memorable & enjoyable dining experience

I really like this place, the foods are different and delicious. they don't have all the Thai dishes but I really recommend this place.

Really enjoyable experience on a wet evening. Food is enjoyable, portions are generous and Food tasty.Excellent yellow curry and crispy chicken plus an amazing dessert!

I have dined here a few times, but the experience tonight was wonderful. We had the tasting menu and the food was quite exceptional! The bay bug betel leaf was so tasty as a starter; the chicken skewers were good too. For mains we had four dishes: Crispy pork belly, deep fried fish, yellow curry chicken and Australian king prawns plus jasmine rice. The fish was definitely my favorite, the rest were really delicious too. Every dish was bursting with flavors. The coconut ice cream for dessert was really nice too!

I had a fantastic lunch here recently. I ordered the beef pad se ew lunch special and it was amazing. The portion size was great and the food was delicious. All of the menu items were reasonably priced and there was a great selection of meals to choose from. Great service and very friendly and helpful staff. I'll definitely be visiting again.

I'm not a fan of Thai food but this was amazing!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐The service was great, everything came very quickly. The food was on point, super flavourful and not as spicy as I imagined.They have great space outside with beautiful view to the bay and the selection of cocktails is amazing!We chose the set menu and it was enough food to feed everyone.

The Massaman beef curry is heaven. It’s hard to share because it’s so good. 10/10 with rice. The crispy pork belly is another dish you must order for the table. Attentive service. Can be a bit of a raucous strip where you’re fighting to be heard across the table, but if all the tables are still full when the kitchen closes then you know you’re going to be in for a good time.

I'm not a fan of their service. The manager was polite but not there to delight the customers. Food quality was average. The roti was too dry like a biscuit. Crispy pork belly with Chinese broccoli, don't expect the pork skin to be crispy. I dined in other Thai restaurants and appreciate more traditional Thai food such as Tom Yum Soup, Tom Kha soup, coconut rice, or sticky rice, which were not offered in here. I also appreciate more with better customer service.

Dined here with my sisters and niece on Saturday.. Food was delicious with descent size portions...Atmosphere was lively...staff were wonderful..Will definitely be back and would highly recommend this place if you are in Barrangaroo area and wanting to hve delicious Thai cuisine at reasonable price..

Great location and food was alright. Overpriced for what it is with much better and cheaper alternatives around the CBD.Highly recommend the deep fried ice cream but definitely a dessert to share between 2.
