Beautiful and cosy snow resort. Personally I liked it more than buller as its every facility is at hands reach and you get to drive right upto the resort. Also since the Village itself is mostly flat, walking around is not a drag. When we went there was a lot of snow, lifts were going and plenty of snow play going on.If you are planning a day trip, this is a perfect Snow resort.

A very great place for skiing, or do other activities such as tobogganing. There are dedicated places for tobogganing with escalator where you can enjoy your time in the resort. Distance and drive wise, it’s not too far from Melbourne and you can do a day trip if not lucky enough to find a place to stay. Gears can be hired in cheaper prices in the close by towns. Parking wise, you’ll find good spot if you arrive there early but will need a bit further down the entrance if you get late.

I was pleasantly surprised snowboarding here having only been to Bulla. The snow was thick, lifts were open (my only comment is I wish they were chair lifts instead) and staff were very helpful! The process of hiring a board and boots was easy - a bit busy but expected for a Saturday in snow season! Get in early as the car park fills up pretty quickly. There are a few restaurants that serve delicious food and beer etc. i would come back for sure!

A wonderful resort, self contained of grid genaration of its own power, portable water, treatment of waste water and snow making facilities.1997 saw 3 lp gas power generators fitted with town lp gas system to service lodge's with gas for heating and cooking, gas power generators to enable underground mains power , removing independent gas bottles and generators.Plenty of walking tracks that link up to Baw Baw National Park. Good in the white season winter and green season summer. On site cafe visiter centre have a grate range of items and grate coffee worth the drive and day trip.Plenty of accommodation to meet budgets and each lodged have a sense of feel when you enter of many good times over the years. The sleep is the best, getting up in the morning with peace no noise like the city and enjoy coffee while listening to news and traffic reports on the radio from Melbourne and just put on work shoes and start work.

I recently visited this resort with my family and I must say, I am utterly disappointed with the experience we had. The resort's website advertised a full-day resort pass and toboggan passes for kids, which we eagerly purchased online in advance. However, upon arriving at the resort, we discovered a deceitful policy regarding the toboggan passes that ruined our entire day.To our shock, we found out that the toboggan passes were only valid for the morning hours, rendering them practically useless for us. This information was conveniently hidden in the fine print, which we missed while making the purchase. As a result, our children were left heartbroken and unable to access the designated play area during our visit. This misleading practice is absolutely unacceptable. As customers, we relied on the information provided by the resort's website, expecting transparency and fairness. Instead, we were met with a blatant disregard for our time and money. It is disheartening to see a business resort to such deceptive tactics to lure customers in.Furthermore, the resort's staff did not offer any solutions or alternatives to rectify the situation. Their lack of empathy and willingness to accommodate disappointed guests was truly disappointing. We were left feeling ignored and undervalued as paying customers. It is vital for businesses to uphold their promises and ensure that the services they offer align with the expectations they set. Unfortunately, this resort failed to deliver on both fronts.

Absolutely beautiful, first snow for me but hubby's been a couple of times to various places around aus and he said it's the best snow he's ever seen. We went a week before school holidays and managed to arrive on one of the best snow days of year. Since we were there before holidays we were one of 6 families and the snow was pristine. Snow upto your knees! Heaps of help from great staff and nooo lines!! Kids loved it and with an autistic child this was perfect. Mt bawbaw is so underrated. We stayed in Erika because we thought the village might be hectic but it was super quiet. We ordered our chains from erika which was a good idea as it gets a bit icy on your way up.

The drive up was really well maintained, we didn't have to put on snow chains when we went up as the snow was all nicely shoved off the driveway. Resort itself was really easy to navigate, slopes were really fun as well for beginners and intermediates!

Snow fields, Those who wish to explore the snow, can enjoy it. Try to bring proper Hand gloves, and other thermal protectors to keep yourself warm. We will get snow chains from the Gate itself to avoid slippery surface.

Went during school holidays but on a weekday. Got lucky to have some snow, and was not crowded. We reached around 11am and stayed till 3 (just sight seeing and toboggan activity).Highly recommend pre booking resort entry, as it can save you few bucks. Entry to toboggan park can also be pre booked. But around 12:40 the colour of pass changes that means, if you had bought pass in the morning, then you have to pay again $12pp to get another pass for afternoon toboggan park entry. We had no issues with parking spots. Staff friendly and happy to help. Chain fitting can be down for $15 (don’t have to pay to take off chains downhill as long as you have the docket).Did not ski, so no data to share.Food and hot beverages options available uphill. But not cheap. Toilet facility available in the restaurants. Found it’s cheaper to rent toboggan downhill from local shops. Highly recommend for parents with school going kids.
