Australia Post - Southport Park LPO

Chinese lady that works there should be sacked.1. She couldn’t find my parcel and kept telling me it’s not in store yet when I had the text to collect it. I noticed two parcels at the bottom of trolley from star track and I said to her look at the names I think those are it and she was wrong I was right and they were it.2. She ended up firing off at me in the store because I was collecting my parcel and my partners parcel with my name and her name on it but only my ID. I had all the texts from my partner giving consent and she wouldn’t let me show and I even had all the emails, links, texts. She told me to shut up and listen to her and then at the end said “why you look so confused are you not understanding” as if I was the one with the problem.If you read all the reviews she’s had several horrid encounters with other people. I got the parcels in the end and she was extremely rude I felt like will smith at the Oscar’s. If I ever have to collect a parcel there again I will be avoiding this staff member.

I have previously scored this P/O 1 star however I had to change my review as the last two visits the staff were friendly and helpful. It almost looks like there in new management. Overall I have to say the staff behind the desk were helpful and was very happy with my last two visits. Thanks

Since this pandemic began and unable to travel, we have been sending parcels (lots)from the Southport Park Auspost. The service we have been given from the staff there has been outstanding. Today we sent another lot and was helped by Sue. Once again we got a lot of help to get our parcels sent. Sue gave us outstanding service and help navigating the Auspost rates and terms ensuring we got the best and most effective way to send them off. This service is like retailers used to be where the staff knew what they were talking about and cared about their customers. Can't recommend that Auspost store enough. Mike R.

Terrible experience, very rude and bad service. After two weeks my documents haven’t arrived yet and they didn’t even ask me any information. It’s the closest Australia Post to home but I won’t ever go back.

I met a very nice lady who helped me out with my postage and she explained very clearly to me. I feel she is very helpful and she makes my day, I wish her have a nice day everyday ☺️

Never service with a smile. Total lack of initiative to problem solve or follow simple requests. No parcel lockers despite having the shortest business hours. Parking is PITA just before COB.There's a reason it's one of the lowest ranked post offices around. Won't be renewing my PO Box at this location.

I grew up near this shopping centre, and this was my local post office. I’ve since moved overseas but myparents remain close by. Every time I visit, I send Aussie treats home in a parcel from this post office and EVERY time, they offer such wonderful service. Sue, who works there, is a standout and always goes the extra mile to help. My parcels arrive within 5 days of sending which is extraordinary, and my family and I enjoy the excitement of opening “a little bit of Australia” after we’ve arrived home. I wish I had a local post office like this where I live. Thank you Sue and Southport Park Australia Post - my whole family is very grateful for you

Small but functional. It does not store many gifts" like some other big ones

Great local Post Office, knowledgeable, helpful & very kind always willing to help you, the store has everything you could possibly need a great range of last minute gifts & cards catering to all budgets.

Just wanted to say a very big thank you to Sue for her customer service today. I had a big parcel that I had underestimated the postage for, and Sue went over and above to help me repackage my parcel to get it to a lower cost. It was my fault and she really didn't need to help but she was only too happy to take the time to help me find a solution. Exceptional customer service which I haven't experienced for a long time. Thank you Sue, you made my day! :-)
