I had booked this business for hair & makeup for my wedding before doing a trial and I now realise this was a mistake. I wasn’t happy with how the trial went - I felt that they didn’t try to understand what I wanted at all and just did their stock standard heavy bridal look - which looked great in the harsh studio lighting but I felt like a clown in the daylight and it had slid off my face within an hour.I could tell there was no coming back from this and decided to cancel the booking for my wedding with 8 months notice. I tried to contact this business to explain that I wanted to cancel and request a refund for the $200 deposit paid for my wedding day if they are able to rebook my date. The business ghosted my and I never got a response from them or my deposit back.

I had one of their hair and make up artists out for a trial and on my wedding day my hair was not at all like it was on my trial day. She did look at the photos prior to doing my hair on the wedding day but perhaps she couldn't be bothered. As a result my hair kept falling out after my ceremony onwards. I requested no liquid make up on my face, just powder but she did that anyway. As a result my face kept getting really oily and shiny. Just didn't listen to what I requested. I had so many hiccups prior that I just refused to be stressed on my day and accepted it but people should know.

I found this business on ABIA website. They had won an award a couple of years ago and I thought it was therefore a reliable business. So I booked with them. I never checked their website for info or Google reviews and that was my biggest mistake! When I did check it recently, I discovered that the owner had no Policies or Conditions of using her services on their website so one wouldn't know what to expect. Not surprisingly the only information she included on her website is a few positive reviews and that her business has won an award. The owner never spoke to me in person, the only communication she accepted was Messenger chats. Now I understand why - she can instantly block clients if she feels the client has too many, for her liking, questions and concerns. The owner came accross very unprofessional and unpleasant from the start. I dismissed that as I thought perhaps she has a tough life and I wanted to give her a chance. But that didn't pay off. Noticeable issues started when I had to reduce the number of bridesmaids and then even more issues when 1 bridesmaid informed me of her serious allergies to some make-up products. On my first invoice the owner didn’t say the deposit was non-refundable and on my second invoice she decided to include non-refundable without a warning. My bridal trial which cost me $200 was far from an enjoyable experience. Both ladies were lovely but they were late, then they were surprised to show up together and rushed the whole experience. Make-up done on my trial was nothing like I was shown and very ordinary. When I expressed my concerns to the owner about poor bridal trial management, she became very defensive, abrupt and rude and denied it. I was shocked with how she used disrespectful language in her messages. She was very argumentative which is totally unacceptable not to say unprofessional. And then no surprise she blocked me. I had the worst experience ever! I have never had a bad experience like this before and all my reviews have always been positive but I strongly believe that people out there looking for a reliable business should know this. I don't wish any future bride to go through the stresses I went through with this business. I am awaiting a refund.

Terri and her team are absolutely amazing, I got married last Friday and she made myself and my girls plus my 2 mums look stunning for the day, she's so easy going makes getting your makeup done for any occasion a breeze. Thank you so much Terri for everything you have done for us.

I booked Sugar Mobile for my wedding makeup as well as bridesmaids and mother of the bride and couldn't speak highly enough of her. Throughout the process she responded promptly to my emails and any questions and on the day she was so friendly and did such an amazing job. I was nervous not having had a trial but showed her a picture of what I wanted and she got it perfectly! I highly recommend Terry for any of your makeup needs!
