I love visiting Scout House to buy gifts, or more often gifts for me. There are always tempting vintage pieces from Europe, and my favourite Cire Trudon candles, as well as a well curated selection of homewares. And, the staff are always friendly and so helpful. One of my favourite shops.

We love shopping at Scout. The service is great and Orlando always gives everyone a warm welcome. He is so helpful when you are looking for something special. The shop is full of so many great accessories and furniture. This is always our first stop when we are styling a house.

Scout House were an absolute delight to deal with. The team truly went above and beyond to help our vintage dreams come to life — against the odds. Orlando’s specialist knowledge is impressive, and his willingness to problem solve and provide customised service even more so. We’d recommend Scout House again in a heartbeat!

Scout House is one of my favourite shops in Melbourne. My partner always goes there for my gifts as he knows I love everything. The Trudon candles and my giant Miffy lights are my favourites. Orlando has such a great eye and style, it’s always such a gorgeous place to go. The staff are fantastic. If you need a gift or even a treat for yourself go to Scout House.

Delivering different bed then pictured.15.12.(Recently added new photo of bed only after several customer taking them to VCAT .)They do not have the beds. The pictured beds are made at Empire beds. They do not supply Scout house the beds any longer.Poor quality knock off delivered instead.You can see timber slats at head and foot end. My bed came unpacked in a back of an old station wagon.Only protective cover a few tied up rags of material at leaning points, Which left lint bits stuck on the heavily over sprayed bed. The bed is sticky to touch and paint is tacky and soft leaving impression marks. Please look up empire beds. If you want qualify iron beds. Go to Empire beds.I pointed out at delivery this is not the bed on line l ordered., l even pulled up the photo. The young lady delivering the bed replied oh there very old photos we do not sell those beds. Yet they took my money over the phone as if they did. This is our new design. Our customers love it.How can a company list photos of beds they no longer supply, yet take orders and money. The bed is also $600 cheaper at the manufacture empire beds. .Beware -knock off beds delivered that are cheap and nasty .

I love this shop. Pre Covid 19 I would visit Scout House on most of my trips to Melbourne. Before and since the travel restrictions I have made online purchases from Scout House. Orlando always has a delightful array of quality, eclectic items available that have brought warmth and character to my home. The online purchases arrive quickly and are beautifully wrapped and packaged safely. I cannot recommend more highly. Looking forward to being there again...

I’ve been coming to Scout House for years now, and it is the first place I look to source unique vintage and antique pieces for my client’s homes. Orlando has a great eye and a special knack for buying quality international brands that aren’t readily available, and also supporting local artists and makers. His team are warm and lovely. Customer service is personal and goes above and beyond.You need to visit Scout House just to experience the stunning store! A visual feast!

I bought this candle the other day as it was recommended by a friend. The Cire Trudon Ernesto is amazing! Quick service with click and collect. Staff were very helpful. I know what I'll be getting mum for Xmas!
