Excel Recruitment

Contacted this company on advice from a friend as this is the company that Brisbane city council uses for recruitment.....allegedly uses. Contacted them in March 2017, contacted them 2 weeks later as I hadn''t heard from them. It is now August and I still have heard nothing. Disappointing company.

I’ve s good mind to go to the discrimination board with these people. They conned mm into registering with the real belief they where going to get me work.I went through a full induction process and then this horrible woman interviewed me and and made patronising remarks and said by the look of me I wouldn’t be able to do the work . Well she didn’t actually say that but that’s what she was implying.She then said I had to get a white card before I would be offered work . I went to the trouble to get a replacement and phoned her up to say I now had white card .After all that I only received 1 call from them asking if I had done this or that in a job. I said yes as I’ve done those jobs. After that I never heard from them again. I’ve been left so demoralised and totally wasted my time and money going there . I strongly believe that employment agencies should be banned .I feel so strongly about this

Applied for a Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanic position this morning. Got a call later in the day, when was the last time you work on buses. A while ago. Oh! was her reply. I replied that they are easy compaired to the Off Highway Mining Equipment that I've worked on for the past 30 years. She hung up. They seem to think that a tradesperson with Cert iv in Engineering and 30 plus years experience in the trade including engine management systems isn't qualified enough for some reason. Very discrimatory is my opinion. Will be reporting them to the regulatory bodies.

Best recruitment company I have ever seen in Brisbane. Very cooperative staff, vast work opportunities, flexibility of work etc..are the top qualities of Excel recruitment. Me, my partner and our two friends got jobs through Excel. Thank you Excel for that....Regards..

Caught em out in a lie over the phone about jobs being advertised,I was willing to go in and sign up asking about the jobs but was told that there is no work and they put them there as part of there recruitment process..Well that's false advertising and why they do this is because once they get about 500+ people on there books they go running to the government for funding saying aww we got all these people on our books.So there just posting fake jobs to build there data base for funding and it's not hard to see why so many reviews here and elsewhere people are waking up to these scammers..Dont believe the fake job ads you see..Boycott the agencies shut em down

Wouldn't consider giving a rating at all. Bunch of unprofessional and rude staff, especially the receptionist. Don't bother, with this recruitment. They don't like answering calls and are always too busy or not available to talk to anyone, about anything.

I am grateful to Excel Recruitment for providing me with great service. The receptionist was organised and had all documents ready for me when I arrived. I made sure that I had all documents in which they had asked for. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I have been fortunate to have been placed into various casual positions, in which I am grateful for. I receive payslips in a timely manner and also any further information in which is required. Thanks very much Excel Recruitment for finding me work.

I did not receive any response after multiple times contacting this company. The receptionist was unprofessional looking and not helpful in any way.
