Peerless Dry Cleaners

It's not a 1 because it was a plus that they were open later than others and close in proximity but there were more downsides. It is rather expensive for such a simple service. I got my shirt and pants dry cleaned/pressed for a wedding which I have never done before and I thought it was ok to simply rely on a company to do it right, for two items, without me having to check they had done it right. When i pulled pants out, they were, well ok. But my shirt had creases everywhere in random places actually pressed into them. Big long creases that took me ages to iron out at the last minute. The sleeves were also very poorly done. There was no care involved. There were also marks on the shirt. First time using a dry cleaner here in Brisbane. Maybe it's an honest mistake but i won't be using them again unless it's an absolute emergency.

I paid a substantial amount to have 21 items dry cleaned at Peerless in Fortitude Valley. I picked them up this afternoon and (once I got home) found that there were 3-4 staples attaching the Peerless label to the each item, including through the lining of my expensive suit jackets. I've used many dry cleaners before and I've never had my clothes treated like this - typically you just see one plastic cord" through a discreet part of the clothing or through the care tag

Please do not ever deal with this business.I put in a Doona cover to be dry cleaned in January and I am still waiting for it.Whenever I contact them I get excuses for the outrageous delay.( Covid, staff shortages, and the best one of all, the recent floods.)Their customer service is abysmal.If I could have given them less than one star I would have.

Awful. Took my suede skirt 2 months to get cleaned - complete joke. At 5 weeks they called me to tell me they forgot to get me to sign something before it was sent off so I had to go back in to sign it and then they told me it would be priority. 3 weeks later I call and they tell me it came in the day before. Didn't even apologise or think to call me to let me know.

Genuinely terrible. The last 3 times I have been here my clothes have come back still with marks on them, in 2 cases with actual pieces of food/goo from the baby still on the sleeve and collar. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because they were conveniently located but honestly they are beyond terrible with very poor quality work. Not worth the time and effort.

Recently I left a pair of trousers at a local branch of Peerless Dry Cleaners to be dry cleaned and on collection found several cut like holes down one leg. Returning the trousers for an explanation (after my contacting 3 times before getting a response) I was told either acid, alcohol, soft drink or something else had been spilt on the trousers and had eating into the trousers however the holes only appeared after the dry cleaning. They also stated that their were other clearly visible spills not just on the leg with the cuts but also on the other leg. They would not take any responsibility.I have since enquired at 3 other dry cleaners who could see no other visible marks and 2 of them believe the damaged leg has come in contact with a loose item such as a brooch or other item that has tangled up with the leg during the process.They all did state that due to the difficulty in determining this damage they would give the benefit of doubt to the customer and pay to replace the trousers.Not so Peerless so I would not recommend this organization to anybody.Col Bryen

Not sure how this place stays in business1. Turn around time is ridiculous; 5 days for basic dry-cleaning service without any extra options2. Quality of dry-cleaning is poor; business shirts now look like they were literally thrown in the washing machine with pilling, de-threading and bent tags3. Horrendous customer service; Lady receiving dry-cleaning was condescending, rude and unhelpful upon drop off. Same lady when we went to pick up and extremely rude to us because we were early. Refused to even talk to us before reopening at 1, then instead of delivering customer service or offering a solution, proceeded to berate me for being early and look down her nose at me. basically told me theres no way it would be ready until 3, so i man the trek back home, only to receive a text about 40 minutes later saying they are ready! she could have just as easily offered for us to wait for them there.Suffice it to say, we will not be using this place again, as there are much better services out there!

I sent my $100 shirt in for sleeve alterations. The sleeve length was made clear and was accompanied by a detailed explanation by the assistant at the Keperra Store. The shirt arrived incorrectly altered and is unable to be worn in it's current state. The shirt was returned so that management ( at their request) could sight the alteration. On collection of my shirt I was offered a store credit and told I am not entitled to any compensation. As I will never use Peerless Dry cleaners again this offer is not acceptable. Following a phone call to management I was asked to supply bank details for transfer of the alteration cost. This is not acceptable to me. I would strongly suggest that I should receive not only the alteration cost but be compensated for a shirt that I can no longer wear. Word of mouth advertising is a powerful tool and I will be ensuring people in my local community are made aware of the shabby way Peerless conduct themselves. This situation could have been resolved by simply refunding me my alteration cost. Regards Robyn

TO ALL THE THE RESIDENTS OF KEPERRA AND SURROUNDING AREAS - I am far from happy with the prices that KEPERRA DRY CLEANERS CHARGE I put 4 pair of trousers in for Dry Cleaning and was told that would cost $46.20 on pickup. Thinking that sounded excessive I rang around to get comparative prices. Firstly I rang Peerless, who actually own the Keperra outlet @ GT. WESTERN SHOPPING CENTRE and was quoted $32.90, I then rang ARANA DRY CLEANERS they quoted $32.00, I then rang White Knight in the City where I had seen a sign advertising 4 Trousers for $28.90, this was confirmed and as well White Knight will, for the same price pickup and deliver to your place of work for the SAME PRICE ! When I picked up my trousers and spoke to the attendant about the other prices she after ringing head office reduced the price to $32.90 BUT told me that if I come again it will be $46.20I THINK IT PAYS TO SHOP AROUND AND DEFINITLEY DON'T GO TO PEERLESS KEPERRA DRY CLEANERS !!!SHARE THIS SO OTHERS DON'T GET RIPPED OFF !!!
