Worst school I’ve ever been to. They care more about appearance than education. One of the teachers, Mr Dooley to be exact threatened to literally rip out my sisters and her friends piercings if he saw them again.

i am a student at this school and me and my mum had a meeting with one the teachers at school that i want to keep my personal private issues at the time. the next day she went to my classroom point at me and told me to go outside because of that every student in my class to then the whole school know every issue i had at the time it made me feel uncomfortable and upset then i confront my teacher why she break the deal witch handshake with both me and my mum but apparently she never agree to the deal

I am a student that goes to this school so therefore I will stay anonymous.This school is very strict with rules and care about your looks more than your education as someone has stated below, most teachers are bullies and I have experienced most teachers be rude to me because I asked a simple question. I will not share my personal story but nobody, not even my design teacher has done anything about it (apparently all the teacher were shocked when they found out who my class complained about as she was a “very sweet” and “kind” lady.Fortunately most of my teachers are very kind and will try to help me when I feel unhappy or not well . Shout out to mister mister and miss s (hint: class, class, class. Yes,yes, yes). They are the best teacher at the school (that I have had so far).Another thing I dislike is the fact that if you late without an approved reason, you get detention and if your not wearing the right uniform you also get detention.I like wearing sport uniform because it is very comfortable to wear but every time I get detention for wearing it on the wrong day.Not only this, the safety here is not very good. About a month ago a girl got chased with a lighter and multiple times student have had a knife pulled on them.This school is the worst place ever and I wish I could move back to where I used to live.Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope you have a lovely day.-Yours truly, Anonymous

I don’t go here but i’ve been here( ACE project inter school sports)The school is extremely tidy and the pros i had for inter school sports were so lovely. I didn’t know how to play basketball but then the pros helped me. Miss. White and Mr. thorn berry are nice. I have heard about bullying at the school but that’s in every school so i don’t see why people are complaining. You get bullying at fox well ssc and they vape and smoke so don’t complain. I’m trying to get my mum to send me here next year and i really want to go here. The uniform is really nice to. The hospitality is amazing as well from the hospitality students(From ACE project)

Yeah.. I don’t recommend this school at all. Use to be a student here and had a grade 11 teacher berate a group of us students for not turning up for exams calling us useless & ungrateful saying we wouldn’t get anywhere in life with missing out. Little did he know I had to miss out on my exams to make sure one of my family members wouldn’t try to k*ll himself again and I did my best to look after him and make sure he was okay. Teachers have no empathy at all and assumed it was tardiness because “that’s usually what teenagers do”.I didn’t have the privilege for school to be a priority for me inside and outside of my school life and I wish teachers knew that. To this day, I am still wounded and healing from the words that teacher had said that day.

Don’t let your kid go to this school unless you want them to have a miserable school life, literally pick another school or don’t even come to pimpama, some of the teachers are friendly but some of them are disrespectful and have very disgusting behaviour.

This is not a good school, they have a massive problem with bullying and fights. Some of higher up staff do not deal with bullying at this school, A majority of the teachers are ok, however some are not. There is a massive problem with class disruption and good students do not have the opportunity to focus on their work. The school facilities are good however, its a shame the school is let down by mismanagement of bullying and general disrespect of the school students towards both staff and their fellow class peers.

This was the worst school I’ve ever been to. The rules are so strict you’d think you were at a private school. Lots of horrible teachers that treat you with ZERO respect. I witnessed a girl get physically harassed by a group of teachers ripping out her ear piercings before school photos. She started bleeding and had to go home. Didn’t even get to take her photo. The rules are really misogynistic. If you’re a boy with a mullet that reaches the middle of your back, you can have it down, but if you’re a girl with a shoulder length hair cut, then you must have it up. They care much more about what you look like rather than your education. I was once pulled out of class for an hour just to be lectured about having more than one ear piercing. I missed multiple important lessons because they wanted to yell at me for the way I look. Your appearance does not affect your ability to learn. This school, however, will make it so. They don’t like the way you look? They’ll pull you out of class for an hour just to tell you so. I had a few nice teachers but majority weren’t. This school cares too much about things that don’t matter, and too little about things that do.
