Australia Post - Carrum LPO

Really nice service. Always friendly especially through lockdown.I use this post office every few days and have never had a problem.

The most rude, unhelpful experience I have ever had from a customer service standpoint.Im not originally from Australia and was confused on how the postal system here works because none of my documents that were shipped here made it to my home. When I called to ask if they were possibly at the Carrum Post Office, I was turned away and told to speak to who sent your package

I understand the local post office worker is not to blame for the incompetence of others. I also understand they must deal with belligerent customers. However, the disrespectful and poor attitude of the male attendant who works at Carrum Post Office is unwarranted with me. Not just on the odd occasion. All. The. Time.

The owner is famously erratic, charming one day, breath takingly awful the next. Today was the final straw. I don't want to feel trepidation every time I need to collect a parcel from this horrendous bully.. I have requested Aust Post at least direct my parcels to Patterson lakes if they won't remove his licence.

For a business you would think the owner would be more polite and not rude. Rang up to see if our delivery was there and basically was rude to me on the phone. Told me it should be there, so I head down with my toddler and then he said “no it isn’t here I said it could be” not that he would waste his time looking. So wasted 20mins of my time. When it was there and I went back in he once again said “oh this one”.

I’ve always found the owner very helpful. Today he went out of his way to help by delivering a parcel Australia Post returned to his agency without even attempting delivery. So helpful in these difficult lockdown days. Thank you ❤️

You are pretty rude dude. I dunno if you are going through something but maybe just be a little more nice. I was nice to you so I don't understand why you have to be so mean. Just take time to read the reviews and maybe self reflect a little bit because they aren't all wrong. I hope you get through whatever it is.

Just had the worst experience with the man runnings the post office. Very rude and patronising. Went to collect a parcel with confirmation email and address but didnt say the last name so he went out of his way to not find the package until i said that it was only under the first name even tho it was sitting right next to my other package which he picked upHow this man has a job dealing with the public blows my mind

The guy who runs this post office obviously hates his job and life and tries to take it out on others. Went in to collect a parcel for my wife and I had the confirmation email on my phone with the barcode. He refused to look at it, was just rude, asking me to repeat the name multiple times, speaking to me in a patronising way. When he couldn't find it among the parcels that had been sitting there for a while, he went over to the recently arrived parcels (sprawled out on the floor mind you, no system at all), he made it out as if I was some vulture coming to collect the parcel as soon as it had arrived. He asked what it looks like I was trying to think and without giving me any time to answer he repeated loudly What. Does. It. Look. Like?". I get working at a post office might not be your life's dreams but don't take your failings out on customers. Do your job properly."

Newspaper delivery always reliable. Also I left my purse in shop and he drove round to my place to return it. Never experienced anything but helpful service. This includes the time taken and patience shown with older customers to sort through their accounts.
