Dr Diane Tay

Dr Diane has exceptional communication skill in making my daughter feels comfortable during her dental procedures. Dr Diane and her team was very thorough and explained all the procedures prior which really helped my daughter to stay calm. Their dental clinic is also very kids friendly and creates a relaxing ambience. I would highly recommend Dr Diane if you are looking for a paediatric dentist.

Diane is not only an excellent dentist, but was kind and genuinely caring toward my child - making her feel safe, at ease and even excited to see her again. Diane went above and beyond what is usual in terms of communication and time - taking great care in knowing that we understood the cause and procedure, and that our child understood as much as possible too. I’m sad to say that after months and months in a broken public system - long waiting lists and distressing appointments (not the fault of public dentists I might add), I felt my child was truly safe and looked after. Recently, she knocked her front two teeth out in an accident and straight away said “I want to see Diane!” That’s what made me come back to write this long overdue review. It’s a no brainer Diane is worth the extra money and travel (if you’re not near her clinics), for outstanding care, time, communication and a safe, happy environment for your child.

Diane has excellent rapport with young children, did good work and responded rapidly to my post-procedure email question during a holiday period, phoning me back with advice. She kept my five year old son calm while drilling and crowning two molars (two appointments), using local anaesthetic injections and happy gas, avoiding the need for a general anaesthetic. Really excellent and happy to recommend her.

We've seen Dr Diane Tay since my now 5 year old hurt her front tooth during a fall when she was 1 year old. She slotted us in that frantic morning and treated my daughter with kindness and compassion and assured us parents that everything will be ok. I am in awe of the work Dr Diane Tay does and I will never hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist.

Diane was very caring and explained the treatment plan as well as procedures very clearly. Dr Tay is wonderful! My 19 month old stumbled at home and broke one of her front teeth quite badly on a Sunday. We emailed the clinic and got an appointment Monday. They are so well set up to help young children relax in an otherwise quite overwhelming environment. Dr Tay explained all the options to us and by Tuesday morning we had surgery. Her staff are so caring, her approach and work are flawless. We can not believe how great the tooth looks, the recovery has been seamless and our daughter completely oblivious to what happened. Can not recommend Dr Tay and her expertise enough.

Dr Tay was compassionate, caring and gentle with both us as parents and our young child. We have nothing but good things to say. Her follow up calls to check on our child were very much appreciated, and one month on, her clinic is still in touch to check how our child is feeling.She always calls back to answer enquirers and has even called me late on a weekend after finishing her surgeries to answer some questions I had. This shows the level of care she gives.We felt safe and that our child was well cared for with Dr Tay. Would highly recommend her to all!

Dr Tay is exceptional with kids. I took my 2 year old baby to this outstanding paediatric dentist for an emergency appointment for a chipped tooth and she could not have been more accommodating and lovely to my daughter and I.Her knowledge and communication skills are exceptional and her bedside manner is second to none.
